The "bendy-bus", or Wright Fusion bodied Volvos entered service with Dublin Bus in the year 2000. After a very short life and having never really achieved their potential, the 20 strong class are about to be withdrawn from service and offered for sale.

No. 136 in the Ipswich Buses fleet is the third of four ex-London United Plaxton Pointer-bodied Dennis Super Darts that were acquired in 2015. It is seen departing Tower Ramparts Bus Station on the half-hourly route 19 to the Dale Hall area to the north-west of the town; although the display proclaims the route to be a circular, it is more accurately a lariat with a one-way loop only at the terminal end.

Ipswich Buses is wholly owned by Ipswich Borough Council, one of just ten UK bus companies remaining in municipal ownership. It operates around 90 buses on routes covering most of Ipswich, as well as some rural routes to the south of the town, many of which were acquired when Ipswich Buses bought out the bus services of Carter's, East Bergholt.
Ipswich Buses has recently (October 2017) bought 13 ex-First London Scania OmniCitys, once these have been refurbished and repainted they will replace a number of older buses in the fleet, mainly ex-London Dennis Tridents.
Buses like this took me all over Wallasey and New Brighton when I was a schoolboy.

Route D8 will swap routings with the 108 north of Blackwall Tunnel/Poplar from Saturday 1st October. This will enable the D8 to be double-decked to meet anticipated future demand in the area as it will no longer be constrained by the low bridge in Carpenters Road, Stratford.
Eight days before the changes, Go-Ahead DWL31, one of a batch of Wright Merit-bodied VDL SB120 that was bought by East Thames Buses in 2004 and still a regular performer on the route, is seen loading up at Stratford Bus Station - from 1st October its place will be taken by the D8. The SB120 is also due to be replaced, as over the next few months Go-Ahead will be placing refurbished ex-Red Arrow Mercedes Citaros onto the route.
