der Burj Kahlifa ist mit 829,8 m das höchste Gebäude der Welt und wird abends mit einer Licht- und Wassershow toll in Szene gesetzt
Vistas desde el Burj Khalifa, que alcanzó los 828 metros. Nadie debe dejar de subir al nuevo mirador de la planta 148, el más alto del mundo, a 555 metros de altura, desde donde se domina todo el paÃs. A sus pies se extiende el mosaico de la rÃa con la ciudad vieja, el gran puerto, el Downtown, las zonas residenciales y hoteleras en la costa, Jumeirah, Dubai Marina, el gigantesco puerto y el aeropuerto. Se ven las urbanizaciones que han crecido sobre el mar, The Palms, penÃnsulas artificiales con forma de palmera, y las 300 islas artificiales de World Island, que dibujan un mapamundi sobre el agua.
Una metrópoli moderna sin perder el encanto de la penÃnsula arábiga, donde los rascacielos crecen como los árboles en la selva y la ciudad se extiende en delgados tentáculos sobre el mar formando archipiélagos artificiales en las aguas de color turquesa. Viajamos hasta Dubai para descubrir unos cuantos imprescindibles de una ciudad que es todo un fenómeno mundial incomparable.
Pasear por el Dubai más futurista y por la gran avenida Sheikh Zayed es una autopista urbana que corre paralela a la costa enlazando las principales zonas urbanas de la ciudad. Es su avenida más importante, un bosque de altas torres de oficinas, produciendo sensaciones futuristas, que parecen surgidas de Blade Runner. En Marina Dubai se ha creado una Riviera en el golfo Pérsico, con hoteles de lujo asomados a sus playas y un gigantesco puerto deportivo rodeado de apartamentos, hoteles y restaurantes que concentran la animación nocturna. Siguiendo la costa hacia el norte aparece la silueta curva el mÃtico hotel Burj Al Arab que fue el primer hotel de siete estrellas del planeta, rodeado por las playas y mansiones privadas de la elegante zona de Jumeirah (donde visitar su mezquita la única de la ciudad abierta a no musulmanes).

Der Burj Khalifa ist mit seinen 828m zur Zeit noch das höchste Gebäude auf der Erde. Er wurde nach rund 6-jähriger Bauzeit am 04.Januar 2010 eingeweiht und befindet sich im Stadteil Downtown Dubai. Direkt am Burj Khalifa befindet sich die Dubai-Mall, in der man sich auch mal gut verlaufen kann, sowie die Dubai Fontain die Wasser bis zu 152m hoch schießen kann.

Directly on the Burj Khalifa is the Dubai Mall, where you can also get lost, and the Dubai Fontain can shoot the water up to 152m high.
