One of the many German bunkers left from the WW2 in the area of Cap Ferret in France, that have been drifted into the Atlantic Ocean, as the sand dunes on which they were standing on, have retreated over the years by the force of the waves.

Bunker Hill is one of those hollowed-out small towns that's found all over the US. With a population of less than 100 souls, it's barely hanging on. Surprisingly, the headquarters of Smoky Hills PBS is here, and you can see its reflection in the windows of this building.
The massive steel door of the WWII underground bunker of Bentley Priory, the headquarters of the Royal Airforce Fighter Command at the time of the Battle of Britain (1940). The bunker also played a role in Britain's nuclear defence strategy for a few decades but, in 2010, was finally decommissioned (and filled in). Leica M8, Elmar 50/2.8.

De bunkers in het Westduinpark hebben het zwaar te verduren. Deze zal binnenkort wel totaal instorten. De bunker die bovenop het duin stond ligt er al in duizend stukjes bij.
