rocketbobs: @thehumboldtcorner hey Bud, got it and Li should be in touch. That other seat will fit, they just have to be tough with it. It's the same with leperas. But that motor sounds like a Fckin animal. I can cut you a deal on a Weeli with a hump ;)

thehumboldtcorner: Huh okay I might need a hump lol thank you sir

rocketbobs: No problem Dude 👍

thehumboldtcorner: Thank you man you rock !!!!

I tried putting the pistons in first, then connecting the rods. Yeah...no way. It's way easier the normal way. The tapered sleeves make installing new rings a snap.

ift.tt/2LLJlx9 This 60 Series Landcruiser has over 630,000Kms on the clock and has seen some work including a couple of laps of Australia, one of them towing a caravan. My mate Simon picked it up about 10 years ago with 370,000Kms on the clock and since then it has been a daily drive, family beach and holiday truck. All that work has meant that despite regular oil changes for the engine, gearbox, transfer and diffs, the gearbox and transfer have been making some pretty awful noises lately especially in 4WD on the over-run. We dived in and pulled the box and transfer out to get it stripped down and find out what was going on. Overall everything was in really good condition which is a testament to those regular oil changes, but it wasn't long before they found the issue. The trust bearings were almost worn completely through and the needle bearing on the idler shaft in the transfer case were showing some serious wear, combined these issues would have accounted for the noise. In the gearbox itself the Lay Shaft was showing signs of de-lamination which would have pretty soon become a serious problem and would have failed.Fortunately the Terrain Tamer gearbox & transfer rebuild kit includes all of the bearings, seals and parts required to completely replace all of the consumable items, even down to the rubber boots. The gearbox lay shaft was couriered in overnight from Terrain Tamer! Stay tuned for the rebuild video coming up soon!
