This magnificent building, located on Eteläesplanadi 12, Helsinki, was constructed in 1899. The Swedish architect John Settergren, who in 1896 moved to Finland to work for the office Grahn, Hedman & Wasastjerna.
If anybody here can add details about ths style - I will appriciate it very much.
I can only add that even for its time the building was exeptional in style.

The new St Regis Hotel Tianjin has an excellent location next to the landscaped Haihe River. Close to city centre business district.
The outside of the Rosenwald Building could be improved to make the building more "green." There are a few ways to improve the windows, such as giving it exterior shading. Also, the longest walls are not facing north and south which minimizes use of natural light instead of artificial lighting inside.
