May 2, 2021 - This is a view of the humongous cantilever structure which will support the large meetings rooms located in the new Hilton Tower Downtown Columbus. Hilton Tower is across North High Street from the Hilton Columbus Downtown. The new 28 story hotel tower will have 460 guest rooms and between the two hotels it will be the largest hotel in the state of Ohio with nearly 1,000 rooms. Scheduled to open in 2022.

Construction Management Associate Professor Marie Patterson (center) was invited to the construction site of the new BSS building to speak with construction workers of Turner Construction Company to facilitate a 10-15 minute discussion on Day #5 of a sponsored “Construction Inclusion Week” on Friday, October 20, 2023 in Chico, Calif.
