All Saints Church in East Budleigh, Devon, was probably erected between 1420 and 1425 on the site of an earlier building, and is noted for its connection with the Sir Walter Raleigh family. The pew ends are square-headed and about 3 feet high, and from 16 to 17 inches broad.
Budleigh Salterton is a small coastal and market town on the south coast of Devon, England, 15 miles south-east of Exeter, and 4 miles east of Exmouth. The town lies within the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It forms a major part of the electoral ward of Budleigh. The ward population at the 2018 census was 6,453. Salterton's population alone is around 4,855.
