June 25, 2017 - This morning began with a visit to a local Tibetan family to learn about life in Tibet.
Buddhist cave temple complex dating from the 2nd century. There are several painted caves and reclining Buddha statues in various levels of the entire rock.

Observance of Precepts:
The five desires (wealth, lust, love, food, and sleep) are like brine - the more you drink the thirstier you become. Our greed is as deep as the ocean; you can never get to the bottom of it. Discontent is a kind of suffering. Happiness can only be found by minimizing your worldly desires, by being content with what you have.
Many of the locals, including these young Buddhist boys, joined together to form a human chain stretching along the Ganges River in support of an effort to clean up their Mother Ganga. I love the color of their clothing as the sun hits them and the various postures of the boys.
