The Dominguez-Escalante NCA is nestled within the Uncompahgre Plateau, where Cottonwood, Escalante, Big Dominguez and Little Dominguez Creeks tumble through red-rock sandstone canyons to empty into the Gunnison River.
This area includes Dominguez Canyon Wilderness, where water running year-round through Little Dominguez Creek provides habitat for birds, mammals, lizards and other species. Desert bighorn sheep can also be spotted grazing beside cliffs.
In addition to excellent rock climbing in the area, the rugged canyons and bluffs hold geological and paleontological resources spanning 600 million years. Rock art on the canyon walls and archaeological sites on the mesas are evidence of thousands of years of Native American hunting and travel. In addition, the Old Spanish National Historic Trail passes through this region. CLICK HERE for more information.

Lake Iseo is another beautiful location at the foot of the Alps in Italy, about 30 minutes away from Brescia. There are some wonderful roads that ring the lake with small villages dotted all the way along, perfect for an Espresso.

The Lamborghini Museum in Sant'Agata Bolognese is an extension of their factory housing a number of company owned vehicles.
Fierce rivals with Ferrari, Lamborghini have a similarly proud and rich history with many of their designs still head turners today.
Miura in my garage, anytime!

Lecco was home base during my trip to the Monza Formula 1 Grand Prix. About 30 minutes away from the track it was not too far, but gave you a feeling of being on holiday.
A lovely town with the lake and mountains as a backdrop, wonderful town square & great food.

After exploring the Manava Resort, we decided to spend the afternoon in Papeete. The least expensive way to get into town is to catch a public bus. Cost is 200f. Watch your time though, because everything seems to close around 4:00-5:00 p.m., including the buses.

Bucket list goal-Check out the Goonies film Locations.
Housed in the old Clatsop County Jail, the museum invites visitors to explore the films and production behind making movies in Oregon. Wander through this building that was an actual working jail (from 1914 - 1976) and the scene of the famous opening jail break from the Goonies.
Since The Fisherman's Bride, in 1908, Oregon has helped give birth to such classics as:
The General
The Great Race
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
Paint Your Wagon
Animal House
Kindergarten Cop
...and, of course, The Goonies. In fact we have movies listed on this website. Some refer to Oregon as "Hollywood North."
