Brothers. The holding hands was spontaneous, not requested. I have a b&w version but somehow I just can't resist the colour :)

my brother suffers from schizophrenia. i dont post many pictures of him because he always looks so tortured.

The horses are brothers not the couple who are mister and missus.

My grandparents operated a grocery store in which they used these weights (and a few bigger "brothers"). After years of use, they weren't of use anymore as modern scales took over. A few years ago they reappeared and I gave them a nice place in my house. They are a precious memory of my grandparents, aunts, and a time that has passed.

One from first thing this morning. A few wisps of mist would have been nice for added atmosphere, but the little sliver of light catching the top of Red Screes was just about enough to make the shot.
