The sculpture at the fountain in the Cathedral Square in Brixen, also known as the Fountain of Life, was created by the South Tyrolean artist Martin Rainer. The bronze sculpture depicts the cycle of a person's life, from birth to death. The water in the fountain symbolizes the element of life and movement.

The sculpture depicts the various phases of human life as a spiral that springs from God's hand and returns to God's hand. It is an aesthetically pleasing work of art that can inspire reflection on the course of life.
