Taken at the dance after the wedding dinner at Leeds, England. After more than 300 shots at the wedding my camera was getting tired and slowing down a bit. I'm sure it wasn't me as I only had fruit juice and a few sips of champagne for the toasts and maybe a small glass of red ...
Still travelling and using a friend's web connection at present.
Ghost brides wear black b/c wearing white would be like, you know, why bother.
This is a real photo of a real person, obviously digitally manipulated....with some flourishes added.
It's here. It's Halloween. :-))
I thought I'd close with a not so creepy photo....and least I hope not creepy. (remember, she's real ;-)
This concludes my run of the Halloween Horror Follies. I again thank you all for the views and comments and faves.
It's been a lot of fun for me being able to share them with you. And you've been enormously kind, supportive and likewise fun.
I'm going to now take a little break from Flickr for just a bit.
Happy Halloween (or whatever) and with that I send you all my most sincere, heartfelt, fondest BOO!!!
Late night in Oslo. I walked by this Bachelorette party, so I just put my camera in between the girls and took a frame on chance

In dark realms lives a bride, in eternal lament. Her name, a whisper in the shadows beyond, echoes in the night, in tones no one can contain. Her veil of stars hides glimmers, a cold shine of lunar winter. Her eyes, windows to an endless abyss, where lost souls meet their end. She walks serenely, a specter in the dark, in search of Hades, her purest destiny. In the garden of the dead, among the flowers of pain, she is the shadow, the guardian of love. Through the flames of an infernal realm, she dances, ethereal, in a spectral ballet. Her heart beats, in a rhythm of sorrow, a somber melody that never ceases to play. Thus, in eternity, she chose to love, the one who reigns where light cannot reach. The bride of Hades, in her celestial veil, is the queen of the underworld, in immortal love.

I don't normally do to many portraits but while shooting the Bridges of Madison County back in September, there was a wedding party getting ready to take photos, and this guy caught my eye with his fancy hair cut and bright colors. He was glad to pose for me. I later found out this young man was the Bride!
Coming back in to dance after a drinks stop. The music was vibrating the chairs walls but the young seem to love auditory pain :)
Have a good weekend!

Sadly, I didn't participate in Brides of March this year. But I did walk past it, spent a few minutes outside of the bar, and took one photo. This is that one photo.
