Last fall we did our first hike up Oberg Mountain and it didn't disappoint! The loop is about 3 miles long and the entire hiking trail was covered with breathtaking shades of fall colors. There were some of the most vibrant colors I have ever seen that stretched as far as the eye could see, covering other ridges and hills far into the distance.
Many thanks for your time, visit and comments - always highly appreciated!
Perched on a hilltop overlooking the stunning French Riviera, the Cimetière du Vieux Château in Menton offers serene beauty and breathtaking vistas. It was a steep climb on a sweltering summer day, but the panoramic view of the bay and the town’s red-tiled roofs made every step worthwhile. From this historic graveyard, the Mediterranean sparkles under the sun, and the vibrant life of the harbor contrasts beautifully with the quiet serenity of the graves. This photo captures the moment when the effort to reach this unique spot paid off, revealing a scene of profound calm and captivating beauty.

Neige immaculée,
Sous mes pas, un doux silence,
L’azur s’étend loin.
Pristine snow untouched,
Soft silence beneath my steps,
Blue sky stretches far.
I've seen a lot of pictures of this place and simply had to see it myself… and it was so worth it!!!
Pas une ombre en vue,
neige vierge sous mes pas,
bleu profond, silence.
No shadow in sight,
virgin snow beneath my steps,
deep blue, silent peace.

This reservoir is a popular tourist destination due to its beautiful turquoise waters and picturesque surroundings of mountains and forests.

Perched at 2,588 meters above sea level, Lac de la Petite Cayolle is a hidden alpine gem nestled in the heart of the Mercantour National Park. This glacial lake, shaped like a teardrop, lies in a dramatic rocky basin surrounded by steep mountain slopes and sparse alpine vegetation. Its crystal-clear waters reflect the ever-changing sky, creating a serene contrast with the rugged terrain.
At Ureddplassen, the day doesn’t end—it melts gently into the night. As the sun slips beneath the horizon, the sky holds onto its last ember of warmth while the aurora sweeps in with silent, shimmering confidence. Here, along Norway’s rugged northern coast, two worlds overlap for just a moment: dusk and darkness, gold and green, calm ocean and cosmic dance.
Fun fact: Ureddplassen is home to one of Norway’s most iconic rest stops, featuring a wave-shaped marble memorial bench dedicated to the WWII submarine HNoMS Uredd.
Ombres et lumières,
Le blanc danse sous le ciel,
Bleu profond s'éveille.
Shadows meet the light,
White dances beneath the sky,
Deep blue stirs awake.
Neige immaculée,
Silence pur sous mes pas,
Le ciel touche l'âme.
Pristine snow glistens,
Silent steps in powdered dreams,
Sky and soul embrace.
Échos des sommets,
Glaciers blancs, l'abîme appelle,
Silence de l'air.
Summits whisper low,
White glaciers kiss the deep void,
Silence in the air.

Morning Sun - Robbie Williams, Kelvin Andrews, Don Black, Daniel Spencer Mould, Richard Scott Mould, Scott Andrew Ralph
It doesn't take an astronaut
To float into space is just a thought
The morning brings a mystery
The evening makes it history
Tell me how do you rate the morning sun
[...]
How do you rate the morning sun?
It was just too heavy for me
And all I wanted was the world
If you are the starlet in the sun
Don't go wasting your time
'Cause there is no finish line
And you don't see anything
Not even love not anything
The night could take the man from you
A sense of wonder overdue
The morning brings a mystery
The evening makes it history
Who am I to rate the morning sun?
Ombres et lumières,
Le blanc danse sous le ciel,
Bleu profond s'éveille.
Shadows meet the light,
White dances beneath the sky,
Deep blue stirs awake.

Mist drifts across the waters as if the island itself is breathing, each exhale a story, each inhale a prayer. The dynasty endures, not in its monuments, but in the quiet that follows them.
The story deepens here, echoing whispers from Eternal Dynasty, where mist and memory entwine.

Captured from the Macer Bay Loop Walk, this elevated view reveals the rugged elegance of New Zealand’s West Coast around Piha. The iconic rocks stand proud amidst sweeping black sands and the crashing Tasman Sea, framed by lush green cliffs and endless ocean. A scene where nature’s raw energy meets serene coastal charm - untamed, unforgettable, and uniquely Aotearoa.
Indonesia's aerial views from a helicopter are nothing short of breathtaking! Imagine soaring above the island's iconic landscapes—smoking volcanoes, lush rice terraces, pristine beaches, and ancient temples. Helicopter tours like those offered by Mason Sky Tours or Air Bali provide a bird's-eye view of Bali's natural beauty, including sights like the Kintamani Volcano, Tanah Lot Temple, and the southern coastline.

Lamahatta Eco Park in Darjeeling is a stunning destination, especially and mostly remains shrouded in mist. The lush green hills dotted with pine trees, their silhouettes softened by the fog is so mysterious and I have a lot of photos . The tall trees creates an ethereal atmosphere, making the landscape feel almost dreamlike.

This photo was taken at Col de la Cayolle, a high mountain pass in the French Alps. In the foreground, you can see small pine trees and rocky ground. The middle of the image shows a wide valley with golden grass and a small stream winding through it. In the background, steep rocky mountains rise under a partly cloudy sky. The landscape is peaceful and natural, typical of the alpine scenery around Col de la Cayolle.
At 2,326 meters above sea level, the Col de la Cayolle offers a breathtaking blend of grassy meadows, rocky slopes, and jagged peaks. Nestled between the Var and Ubaye valleys, this high-altitude pass in Mercantour National Park reveals a tranquil wilderness sculpted by wind, water, and time. A place where marmots whistle, shadows stretch across stone, and the sky feels close enough to touch.
A quiet summer evening above the Elzbach Valley: the sun has just slipped behind the hills, the forest rests in deep green, and on the horizon rises Pyrmont Castle – like a silent guardian of the land.
The slopes naturally lead the eye towards the tower, while the sky and trees dissolve into warm and cool tones. A fleeting balance between calmness and tension, captured in light.
