Last fall we did our first hike up Oberg Mountain and it didn't disappoint! The loop is about 3 miles long and the entire hiking trail was covered with breathtaking shades of fall colors. There were some of the most vibrant colors I have ever seen that stretched as far as the eye could see, covering other ridges and hills far into the distance.
Many thanks for your time, visit and comments - always highly appreciated!

Was in Lausanne having a coffee and it was raining.. left my friend and suddenly there has been a terrific sun outburst! I was planning to go home but I finally took the highway east to Lavaux... Great decision! That was one of those memorable Sunday evenings. Thanks Mother Nature!

Close to the village of Arsha in the Kazbegi region lies the Arsha Waterfall, about five kilometers from Stepantsminda Kazbegi. The hike to the waterfall is considered easy and typically takes three to four hours. The trail is unpaved but well-trodden, surrounded by lush meadows, and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The waterfall is one of the lesser-known natural attractions in the area, contributing to its untouched and serene atmosphere. A bit further along is the Toti Waterfall, accessible via a steep trail that passes above the Arsha Waterfall. This waterfall offers spectacular panoramic views and is an ideal spot for a picnic. Visitors can enjoy the tranquility, the breathtaking nature, and even take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear water. The hike to Toti Waterfall leads through a rugged mountain landscape with breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks and deep valleys. The trail winds along steep slopes and rocky paths, surrounded by dry grasslands and scattered shrubs. Along the way, impressive cliffs and natural formations add a unique character to the scenery. The fresh mountain air and the tranquility of nature make the journey an unforgettable experience. At the end, the spectacular Toti Waterfall awaits as a rewarding sight after the challenging climb.
This photo shows a beautiful view on the way back from Toti waterfall to Arsha waterfall. The golden autumn colours of the trees contrast beautifully with the rugged, rocky slopes and the snow-capped mountains in the background. The sun illuminates the leaves, giving nature an almost magical look. Such landscapes make the walk between these waterfalls impressive not only because of the water, but also because of the surrounding nature and the ever-changing views. A truly picturesque moment in the mountains!

Silver touches the cold stones,
Soul finds its quiet.
Ombres et lumières,
Le blanc danse sous le ciel,
Bleu profond s'éveille.
Shadows meet the light,
White dances beneath the sky,
Deep blue stirs awake.
Neige immaculée,
Silence pur sous mes pas,
Le ciel touche l'âme.
Pristine snow glistens,
Silent steps in powdered dreams,
Sky and soul embrace.
Échos des sommets,
Glaciers blancs, l'abîme appelle,
Silence de l'air.
Summits whisper low,
White glaciers kiss the deep void,
Silence in the air.

Morning Sun - Robbie Williams, Kelvin Andrews, Don Black, Daniel Spencer Mould, Richard Scott Mould, Scott Andrew Ralph
It doesn't take an astronaut
To float into space is just a thought
The morning brings a mystery
The evening makes it history
Tell me how do you rate the morning sun
[...]
How do you rate the morning sun?
It was just too heavy for me
And all I wanted was the world
If you are the starlet in the sun
Don't go wasting your time
'Cause there is no finish line
And you don't see anything
Not even love not anything
The night could take the man from you
A sense of wonder overdue
The morning brings a mystery
The evening makes it history
Who am I to rate the morning sun?
Sous les pins cembro,
L’âme glisse sur la neige,
Silence des cieux.
Beneath Swiss pines,
The soul drifts upon the snow,
Heaven’s quiet gaze.

Bleu profond s'éveille.
Shadows meet the light,
White dances beneath the sky,
Deep blue stirs awake.

During our voyage on the ColorLine from Kiel, Germany to Oslo, Norway, we had the opportunity to sail beneath the remarkable Great Belt Bridge. Spanning the Great Belt strait, this engineering marvel connects the Danish islands of Zealand and Funen. With a total length of approximately 18.2 kilometers, the Great Belt Bridge is ranked among the world's longest suspension bridges. Its construction involved intricate design and precise engineering, making it an impressive feat of architecture. As we sailed underneath, we were captivated by the bridge's immense size and structure, appreciating its significance in facilitating efficient transportation between the Danish islands – Great Belt Strait, Denmark

The iconic rocks stand proud amidst sweeping black sands and the crashing Tasman Sea, framed by lush green cliffs and endless ocean. A scene where nature’s raw energy meets serene coastal charm - untamed, unforgettable, and uniquely Aotearoa.

Lamahatta Eco Park in Darjeeling is a stunning destination, especially and mostly remains shrouded in mist. The lush green hills dotted with pine trees, their silhouettes softened by the fog is so mysterious and I have a lot of photos . The tall trees creates an ethereal atmosphere, making the landscape feel almost dreamlike.
This black-and-white photograph captures a serene mountain village, with a prominent church tower standing tall amidst lush greenery and rolling hills in the background.

I’m standing on the TST promenade in Hong Kong at 6:04 in the morning, way earlier than I’d ever crawl out of bed back home, but travel days do weird things to my alarm clock. The harbor water sits still enough to catch the skyline’s glow, and a few joggers puff past while I fiddle with my camera. Apart from them, I only spot one other guy—looks local—quietly lining up his own shots. The air is cool, the city’s just waking. Not bad for being up before most people have their first coffee.
