The sun tries to breakthrough early morning low cloud over the slopes of The Cheviot, the largest hill in the Cheviot range, an old range of eroded volcanoes in Northern England and the Scottish Borders. I still cant believe I was stumbling up this hill at 7.30am in what is a very remote and wild area...

Ilford FP4 , Chinon CS camera, Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 50mm 2.8, Vivitar Y/G filter and scanned poorly with a Canon 8800F scanner on basic settings. Finished off with PP in GIMP.
