A Common Snipe and a Redshank take a well earned break from their hectic search for small invertebrates and crustaceans along the coastal section of RSPB Leighton Moss. As far as I could tell, worms and small crabs topped the day's Specials Menu.

FIND YOUR FREEDOM

live your life

walking along those beautiful beaches of fine sand like flour, those cold waters of the Atlantic brush my ankles while the furrows made by my feet remain in the sand, there are my footprints that will soon be erased again by the sea ...

paseando por esas hermosas playa de arena fina como la harina, esas aguas frias del atlantico rozan mis tobillos mientras en la arena quedan los surcos hechos por mis pies, alli quedan mis huellas que pronto seran borradas de nuevo por el mar...

white - but no snow. Unfortunately I have to stay at home today :(

Here you can see Pepper, she is around 6 months old. She is from the cat help Stuttgart and I helped to give her a new home. A friend had already a young cat and was looking for another so that they can play with each other. Now she is living with another cute cat and I'm happy. I think and hope she is also happy at her new home with her new mate.

Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! ❤️❤️❤️

Even a large healthy Grizzly Bear needs to rest sometimes.

I'm lookin' for motivation

I'm lookin' for a new foundation

And I'm on that new vibration

I'm buildin' my own foundation

Hold up, oh, baby, baby

You won't break my soul

Four days after strong winds, the waves size increased in size up to 4m in height. This is the third in a sequence of three photos of a large wave breaking.

Please view enlarged - type "L".

I did not try to shoot a movie of the waves this time because the Pentax K-1 has quite a slow frame rate. If you are interested I did shoot some movie footage of waves in 2017. You can see it

Thank you for visiting. I appreciate the faves and kind comments very much.

I toss out peanuts for the squirrels I guess this one thought it was gold since that was all it could find, either that or it’s break time.

At an altitude of 10,000+ ft (3,000+m), Cedar Breaks National Monument in Utah sits on top of the Colorado plateau. Millions of years of sedimentation, uplift, and erosion have carved out this giant amphitheater that spans some three miles and is more than 2,000 feet deep. The Scenic Drive through the park is closed from the first heavy snow (anywhere from late October to early December) and typically remains closed through late May and early June. This was our fourth attempt to visit this park, and we were rewarded with great views, clear autumn air and wonderful color.

We are back in California after 15 days, 3,000+ miles and a family gathering. I hope to catch up with everyone over the next few days.

Thanks for stopping by and for all of your kind comments -- I appreciate them all.

Little break after a long drive.

Sometimes you just have to let yourself hit the rock bottom and feeling the feel of surrender.

With special thanks to Biggin Burleigh for letting me use his car and break it :-)))

You broke my heart when you left me without explanation. We had started talking about house, baby, ...

I would have liked so much if we had had arguments, if we had no more desires for each other, if you had left me for another one. But nothing!

It took me months to understand that it was out of cowardice. Like blocking me on your phone to stop all dialogue.

I drowned my sorrows in alcohol and drugs. If my family and friends hadn't supported me, I wouldn't be here. And you weren't worth it!

Finally, we will not walk together until tomorrow! Our song ...

Snapping Turtle stopped for a break, or maybe just wanted me to take a picture of her.

Having went back to the hotel for some breakfast after a great sunrise at llanberis the clouds vanished leaving clear blue skies which wasn't looking promising for any day time photography. We were on our way to Lake Ogwen in North Wales when we followed the road around a bend to find some really interesting clouds appear out of nowhere rolling over the mountains.

We just had to pull the car over to the side of the road to grab a quick shot. I really love how the sun was forcing its way through the gaps to highlight the scene, just as quick as they appeared they disappeared to leave a bright blue sky for the next few hours.

Please feel free to favourite and follow.
