9-ball game break shot!

I stopped by a Marl Lake on a work trip for a break and opportunity to snap a few. I noticed these bluetail damselflies buzzing around some plants by the water. This one was taking a break like me :)

The last photo from this split where I got all 7 aircraft. Next time I will take a wide angle lens just to photograph the complete action.

This female (juvenile?) snail kite broke off her "fishing" run right as she touched the surface of the water. They are such amazing birds!

My sincere thanks to all who spend the time to view, like or comment on my photos. It is much appreciated!

A short break in the usual Seattle weather.

Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, colour on the canal!!

It was a busy afternoon at the Aqueduct.

We went across on a boat, but delayed a little as lots of boats trying to access both ways

Although we are only in the middle of August, there is already a hint of fall on this hill.

An Osprey mother and her two chicks are waiting for Dad to bring in the needed meal. While waiting, they've got animated by some opinions.

I mentioned earlier that the front door of this farmhouse, which I first photographed in December, had been forced open to the elements. Since my last visit, the door has been partially broken and still has not been boarded up. This seems to be another example of an abandoned farmhouse with no one looking after it. There was no signage on the property.

I never noticed before but there are no front steps and the door is quite high off the ground.

This is the beautiful early flowering magnolia at Hidcote - I will make another visit very soon!

UNESCO has described this World Heritage Site as a " Masterpiece " of creative genius.

It Spans the Dee Valley in Wales, at 307m [ 1,007 ft ] long and 38m high, supported by 19 hollow masonry pillars.

It was one of the first projects to use cast iron on such a large scale, and the height of the construction was a significant engineering challenge
