Incredibly easy to make, delicious and fluffy buttermilk pancakes. This is our family’s favourite breakfast! We perfected and have made this recipe for years.

Make this breakfast ahead of time for a few days' worth of breakfast. It’s quick, delicious and healthy. It’s also easy to customize.

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 lb bacon (8 slices)
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
2 cups Original Bisquick® mix
1 cup of your favorite regular or nonalcoholic beer
2 eggs
DIRECTIONS:
1. Heat oven to 350°F. Line cookie sheet with foil. Place wire rack on top of cookie sheet. Arrange bacon in single layer on top of rack. Bake 10 minutes.
2. Sprinkle bacon with half the brown sugar. Bake 10 minutes longer. Turn bacon over; sprinkle with remaining brown sugar. Bake 10 to 15 minutes longer or until golden brown. Remove from rack. Cool completely, about 15 minutes. Crumble bacon into small pieces; set aside.
3. Heat griddle or skillet over medium-high heat or electric griddle to 375°F; grease with vegetable oil or shortening.
4. In medium bowl, beat Bisquick mix, beer and eggs with whisk until blended. If batter is too thick, add additional beer until desired consistency. Stir in bacon. Pour by 1/2 cupfuls onto hot griddle. Cook until edges are dry. Turn; cook until golden brown.
INGREDIENTS:
1 box Betty Crocker® SuperMoist® yellow cake mix
1 cup water
1/3 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
2 rolls Betty Crocker® Fruit Roll-Ups® strawberry chewy fruit snacks (from 5-oz box)
Sugar
8 toothpicks
8 teaspoons seedless raspberry jam
1 cup Betty Crocker® Rich & Creamy vanilla frosting (from 1-lb container)
DIRECTIONS:
1. Heat oven to 350°F. Line 15x10x1-inch pan with foil. Spray with cooking spray.
2. In large bowl, beat cake mix, water, oil and eggs with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds. Beat on medium speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Pour into pan.
3. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Do not remove cake from pan. Cool completely, about 30 minutes. Place cake in freezer. Freeze until firm, about 1 hour.
4. Meanwhile, to make roses, unwrap fruit snacks. Brush one side of each fruit snack lightly with water. Sprinkle with sugar to coat. Repeat on other side. Cut each snack into 1/2-inch strips. Starting at one short end, roll strips around one end of toothpick, gathering it together to form a rose. Add on an additional strip, pressing to hold it together. Repeat to make 8 roses.
5. To assemble jam stacks, remove cake from freezer. Using foil, lift cake from pan. Using 2 3/4-inch round biscuit cutter, cut 16 rounds from the cake. On cooling rack, place 8 rounds top side down. Spread each with 1 teaspoon raspberry jam. Top with remaining cake rounds top side up.
6. Place frosting in small microwavable bowl. Microwave uncovered on High about 30 seconds or just until melted; stir to blend. Let cool slightly. Spoon 2 tablespoons frosting over each cake, allowing frosting to run down sides of cake. Insert rose-topped toothpick through top of each cake to secure layer and for rose to provide decoration.

1 lb bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
1 medium red bell pepper, chopped (3/4 cup)
1 package (8 oz) sliced fresh mushrooms
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
3/4 cup milk
12 eggs
1 package (2 lb) frozen hash browns, thawed
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese (16 oz)
DIRECTIONS:
1. In 12-inch skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Using slotted spoon. Remove from pan to small bowl. Cover and refrigerate. Drain drippings, reserving 1 tablespoon in pan. Add onion, bell pepper and mushrooms; cook 4 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Stir in mustard, salt and pepper. In large bowl, beat milk and eggs with wire whisk.
2. Spray 13x9-inch (3-quart) baking dish with cooking spray. Spread half of hash browns in baking dish. Spread onion mixture evenly on top. Sprinkle with 1 cup of the cheese. Spread remaining hash browns over top. Pour egg mixture on top. Cover; refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
3. Heat oven to 325°F. Uncover; bake 50 to 60 minutes or until thermometer inserted in center reads 160°F. Sprinkle with remaining 1 cup cheese and the bacon. Bake 3 to 5 minutes longer or until knife inserted in center comes out clean, top is puffed and cheese is melted. Let stand 5 minutes.

2 cups Fiber One™ Complete pancake mix (from 28.3-oz box)
1 1/3 cups cold water
1/2 cup mashed ripe banana
2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
Toppings:
1 firm ripe banana, sliced
2 teaspoons chopped walnuts
1/4 cup fat-free caramel topping
DIRECTIONS:
1. Heat skillet or griddle over medium-high heat or to 375°F. Grease with vegetable oil or shortening.
2. In medium bowl, stir pancake mix and water with fork or wire whisk until smooth (batter will be thin). Stir in mashed banana and 2 tablespoons walnuts.
3. For each pancake, pour slightly less than 1/4 cup batter into hot greased skillet. Cook until bubbles break on surface and edges just begin to dry. Turn; cook about 1 minute or until bottoms are golden brown.
4. Serve pancakes topped with sliced banana, 2 teaspoons walnuts and the caramel topping.

1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 cup milk
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon garam masala
1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
1/2 cup butter, melted
DIRECTIONS:
1. Heat oven to 350° F. Grease 24 mini muffin cups.
2. In large bowl, beat 1/3 cup butter, 1/2 cup sugar and the egg with electric mixer on medium speed until blended. In medium bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg and ginger. Add alternately with milk to butter mixture. Divide batter evenly among muffin cups.
3. Bake 15 to 18 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool 5 minutes. Remove from pan.
4. In large food-storage plastic bag, mix 1 cup sugar, the cinnamon, garam masala and cardamom. Roll hot muffins in melted butter, then toss in sugar mixture to coat. Serve warm.

This Fennel Seeds Chutney or Sombu Chutney (Tamil) is prepared by grinding fennel seeds, coconut, small onion and chilli as main ingredient. As a kid, whenever I visit my grandmom's house in Srirangam, Trichy, she used to make this chutney with hot ghee dosa's. Still I could recollect those nostalgic memories about the taste of this chutney. As all of us know munching on a few fennel seeds will refresh our breath after an odorous meal and get rid of bad breath. Fennel seeds is good for reducing obesity, as it suppresses the appetite and creates a feeling of fullness and it works as a natural fat buster by breaking down the fats. As I could not find this version of sombu chutney in internet elsewhere, I called my mom to pass this recipe to me. Also I am very happy that I am the first to share this version of Sombu Chutney / Fennel Seeds Chutney through my blog.
