Got to love how nature imitates life!

18 miles from town, my old car broke down
The fan belt's slippin' & the engine's missin'
Oh what I'd give to be home restin' my bones

A few photos back we saw this car between two white Porsche 911s.
Almost as soon as it left the roundabout it flew off up the road. We saw it a couple of miles later, the last mile in barely moving traffic. It seems the car in front here broke down in one of the lanes and traffic was stopped for a few minutes to allow it to be pushed to the hard shoulder.
I'm trapped in the middle of nowhere.Outside are just hungry dogs-help......!
Have a grand week guys.Thank you for comments and faves.

This is the breakdown of the head. This head keeps the same dimensions and basic build as the original.
"Breakdown" 1986
Near Whitstable, Kent, the sea wall is clearly breaking down. Rising sea levels and extreme weather are going to make this worse. Storms have thrown pebbles far over the sea wall. The sky is also breaking down ( not edited to give this effect .. probably caused by poor treatment of the negative ) .. the whole giving a feeling like a dystopian post-nuclear impact. Overall a feeling of unease, decay and desolation. I only saw this in the last year or so even though it was taken in the 80s. It struck me immediately in a profound way.
« Breakdown » 1986
"Oh yeah, great! Have a fusion belt malfunction just as the dust storm approaches, perfect! I'm gonna have to call for a rescue drone..."
Classical architecture survived better when actually made of whole stone, not steel and concrete. Hilgard Hall, 1917, on the UC Berkeley campus.
I need this
Old train to breakdown
Oh please just
Let me please breakdown
Break on down
I got to break on down
But you can't stop nothing
If you got no control
Of the thoughts in your mind
That you kept and you know
That you don't know nothing
But you don't need to know
The wisdom's in the trees
Not the glass windows
You can't stop wishing
If you don't let go
Of the things that you find
And you lose, and you know
You keep on rolling
Put the moment on hold
The frame's too bright
Put the blinds down low
I need this
Old train to breakdown
Oh please just
Let me please breakdown
I need this
Old train to breakdown
Oh please just
Let me just breakdown
Oh let me breakdown
