Yup, I blinked first.
Love their oh-so-serious looks and expressions. I had taken several shots of this bald eagle and I think he was weary of my clicks and attention.

~ Soylent Green instead Shoulder from My Way of Seeing ~
First time I have seen it was a few years ago. It sinked a bit on his right side.I don't know how it comes on my mind a few days ago...
It was there, looking desperate. sinking deeper. I had feeling it doesn't care any more.
It was sunny, but cold. I wasn't so brave to step in water and give him hug as I wish. I am coward, I know.
Than at home safe and warm I decide to create this "Soylent Green" instead my shoulder.

it was really a rare moment for me to see a blue sky when i was in paris and that was just a few minutes when we went up to this church. would you believe that in a few minutes the blue sky was gone??? i was sure glad i caught it in time!
