This is the cat we met at the Misty Mountain Winery. He was extremely friendly, loved to be petted, and enjoyed the attention so much he couldn't help but drool. The winery owner told a wild story about the cat, who he had not named (so I'm dubbing him "Corky"). We were told Corky was a stray and to this day is left to fend for himself for food. We were told he was first found in a tree when the owner was hunting, and that the cat later climbed into his house through an open window during a storm. Tall tale? Don't know, but Corky was very friendly, very soft, and a great companion to a winery visitor who's not that much into wine tasting.
