EN: 1969 OHE introduced a brandnew signalling system that allowed to manage the whole line Celle - Soltau by one dispatcher in Celle Nord. From that time the signals are still alive. One of them is the southern entrance signal of Wietzendorf station that was passed by the HVLE local 93751, hauled by the 295 in retro livery.
DE: 1969 hat die OHE auf der Strecke Celle - Soltau ein absolut fortschrittliches Signalsystem eingeführt, das eine Fernsteuerung der gesamten Strecke von Celle Nord aus ermöglichte. Aus dieser Zeit stammt sicherlich auch noch das südliche Einfahrsignal von Wietzendorf, das die HVLE Üg 93751 gerade passiert.
EN: Railadventure train 41791 from Braunschweig to Zwolle moved new rolling stock to the Netherlands: The brandnew ICNG trainset 3135* once in its lifetime saw the semaphores of little Velpe station.

One of the new Bison calves at Elk Island National Park. I spotted this youngster during an early morning visit. I had to quickly cover some rough ground and my hands were shaking with excitement when I pushed the button. I would prefer a sharper image but the calf was out of sight behind mama moments later
I got out my new Kliban Cat Calendar which only interested Rena slightly so I had to get her Christmas gift wand.
Notice the wand looks like a Rena leg, same colors, but as you see she has her front legs behind the calendar.
EN: Many german train operators got brandnew Stadler Eurodual engines. These locos are able to move powered electric by catenary or with diesel. One of them we see with HHPI train 88994 on OHE tracks between Altensalzkoth and Hustedt. The tractor let us sweat blood, but the farmer did a very fast turn, so everything went well.
DE: Bei deutschen Privatbahnen sind immer mehr von den eindrucksvollen Stadler Eurodual Maschinen zu beobachten, die sowohl mit E (Oberleitung) als auch mit Diesel fahren können. Eine davon beobachten wir mit HHPI Zug 88994 Lührsbockel - Wabern auf dem OHE Netz zwischen Altensalzkoth und Hustedt. Der Trecker ließ uns Blut schwitzen, aber der Bauer legte eine sehr schnelle Wende hin, so dass alles gut ging.

The brandnew Siemens Vectron 193 524 "Limmat" and 193 526 "Maas" (behind) on her first commercial tour from Basle to Chiasso. Here you can see the train between Schwyz and Brunnen.

Some fun the other day. Some Bears got new shoes. It was fun seeing them with their shoes. They don't wear shoes, but hey, that's not the point.

EN: Just few minutes after the brandnew Intercity passed the very famous station of Subzin-Liessow in the middle of nowhere, another train arrived on the opposite track: HSL 41327 from Rostock Seehafen to Brno. (Sign looking out behind loco was removed digitally).
DE: Wenige Minuten, nachdem ein Zug der nagelneuen IC-Linie Rostock - Dresden den bedeutenden Haltepunkt von Subzin-Liessow (allein dieser Name strahlt doch schon eine wahnsinnige Wichtigkeit aus?) passiert hat, rollt auf dem Gegengleis HSL-Zug 41327 von Rostock Seehafen nach Brno heran. (Spitze von hinter Lok hervorlugender Vorsignalbake elektronisch geext).
EN: Hauled by a brandnew Siemens Charger we see San Diego Coaster train no 641 crossing San Dieguito River trestle between Del Mar and Solana Beach. Unfortunately most wagons of the coaster are plastered with advertising - even over the windows. What a shame for the passengers!
DE: Gezogen von einem schachtelneuen Siemens Charger kommt der San Diego Coaster 641 auf einer langen Trestle Brücke von Del Mar über den San Dieguito River auf Solana Beach zugefahren. Leider sind mittlerweile die meisten Wagen des Coasters mit Werbung zugekleistert - sogar bis über die Fenster. Für die Fahrgäste ist das nicht schön.

I actually got my real camera out yesterday to take Mack's photo. I took this photo first and saw that it was over exposed and so changed the exposure settings and took several more. Once I uploaded the photos to my desktop computer, I realized I liked Mack's eyes in this photo. In all the other photos, his fur was exposed correctly but his eyes were too dark to see much detail because he was backlit. So over exposed it is.

EN: One of the brandnew Bombardier Twindexx trainsets as train RE 21067 is passing Osterhorn, a village north of Dauenhof station. This train is sheduled having one EMU set from Flensburg and one from Kiel, but as there aren't still enough of these trainsets in operation we see the EMU from Flensburg only.
DE: Einer der neuen Bombardier Twindexx Züge passiert als RE 21067 Osterhorn, ein Dorf nördlich des Bf Dauenhof. Weil noch nicht genügend Zugeinheiten zur Verfügung stehen, sehen wir nicht den vereinigten Zug von Flensburg und Kiel, sondern nur den Zugteil aus Flensburg.

For those of you who have asked why Cleo and Fynn had to see the vet: Cleo only had a check-up to make sure that her renal values stay stable under the treatment and so far they do. Fynn was diagnosed with a pancreatitis last week and had an ultrasound yesterday to see how bad it is and to make sure that there isn't a tumor involved. No tumor and the pancreatitis only affects a small part of his pancreas but still requires urgent treatment. He gets infusions at home now and some meds which are mainly supposed to stop the vomiting and reduce the pain. He also gets a fat reduced diet. If things don't get worse, he will have a check-up at the vets in 2 weeks.

Si sfilò le lenzuola e il corpo ancora caldo e intorpido dal sonno si ritrovò d'un botto seduto sul letto.
Guardò quei flebili raggi di luce che ora lo illuminavano fiocamente. Il nuovo giorno era sorto e con lui Federico era pronto ad affrontare una nuova giornata."

EN: A brandnew class 245 loco with the car shuttle from Sylt island heads into Lehnshallig station, situated between Klanxbüll and Niebüll. The semaphore lets the driver know that he will have to wait for a crossing train in the station.
