Braided Corona Star, Corona Star Series (Maria Sinayskaya)
squares, 8 units, no glue
The star is just a more advanced variation of the Braided Star which was created last year. The Braided Star on steroids if you will:) By adding some additional folds to the unit it's possible to make these little corners pop out for a "two-layered" effect.
If you like this braided look in the center make sure to check out this great video tutorial by Sara Adams featuring the basic Braided Star!
I didn't realize how many Momoko have braids till I took these pictures! :-D

This one is a mystery to me, didn't see where it came from or where it went. Didn't know CP entered Braid from this direction. Any suggestions?

Nothing brings people out like a brand New Mexican restaurant. Bar Burrito opened today. I spent a 1/2 hour waiting behind this lady and her beautiful braids.

A most wonderful thing for me when I find these shots. This one I repaired with PS because the edges were torn off, and I didn't want that to detract from the lovely focus of the women's formation. Also bumped up the contrast and de-yellowed it.
Had a flashback this morning of mornings when I braided my DD’s hair. So now she does mine occasionally. She also took this picture.
This is a 'look I've made a braid!' picture haha :p
Make sure to view bigger! :)
Somehow that blur irks me a bit.. it blends in too much with my skin color? I don't know.. it just looks a bit odd :s mmmm

More pictures at my www.angelicavis.nl/blog/ :) (though different kinds :P)
Excuse my random background of some dolls on my shelf. :P I didn't feel like setting up paper or fabric or something. (And yes, I do see that one section of Believix Power Tecna's hair that's randomly in Musa's face. I don't know what happened. I'm just noticing it now that I'm uploading this.)
So I decided to try curling Bloomix Layla's hair by braiding it into tons of tiny little braids, running it under really hot water, and waiting a day for it to dry... but it didn't work. I tried undoing one of the braids this morning and it was pretty much the same as before, just slightly wavier. So disappointing!
But I actually do really like how the braids themselves look so I think I'm just gonna leave her hair like this. It's cute! I should probably redo some of them-- especially the ones near the top, but eh, it took me an hour and a half to do them in the first place (I'm the worst at braiding, okay?) and I don't feel like doing it again.
What do you guys think?
Hadley has ropes hanging on a wall in the garage. I chose this one cause the plait was frayed and you could see the individual strands.
ODC: braid or plait
Bird’s eye view of the Rakaia River braid-plain, South Island, New Zealand en route to the Pacific ocean. The larger channels (light blue) of this ancient fluvial system are more than a hundred metres wide. On a sandy beach the creation and destruction of similar, though very much smaller scale, processes may occur twice daily at the whim of changing tides. Part of the NatureShop set.

Since I have to wear my hair up for work, braiding is something I do everyday...
I made this necklace from a tutorial that Ruby from www.cakies.blogspot.com did! It was so fast and fun!
I won the fabric I used from Rachel at RVA. I love it!
