There is that set of rituals like these boys side by side watching the soccer game - that are unconsciously picked up and timeless in their look.

This was taken in Kildare, Ireland in October. I met some photographers there and we went shooting. My boys came too.
I met up with David (Highland Fisky) and we managed a few hours at Glen Cannich in the middle of the day in bright sunshine.
There was still some snow about, but mainly higher up and it meant the stags were low down not too far from the road.

I love their brotherhood moments.
A little backstory. This was taken on our summer holidays by the lake. I liked the place from the moment we came. I watched where the sun would set. It was a valley and in the evenings a little mist would form there where the wood was kept. Finally the last day I was walking that road with my sons and the older one said he was tired and he does not want to walk any more. He sat down in the grass. I called my younger one to give him a helping hand :)
They had such a wonderful time at the beach of course Jasper did because he got to swim and play ball and Niko actaully really liked it too as you can see. He was being so silly just running all around, chasing Jasper and eating sand x]

fireworks on Chinese New Year's eve
Anchang is a charmingly sleepy little waterside town northwest of Shaoxing that retains much of its original architecture. At Spring Festival, the Folk Customs Festival is the highlight of Anchang’s celebrations. This small town receives few foreign visitors and, other than at weekends and on major national holidays, not many Chinese, either. As yet unsullied by tourism, Anchang is a rare touristic treasure.
Gyan's new joints inspired (i think) by The Onion personals. Chrissy and Gyan got me to join up on that, it's kind of a waste of time.
