I took this photo of a wax figure of Rick Genest at a Montreal street festival a few years ago. It was so life like it was insane. Rick passed away in August of 2018.

The restaurant´s picturesque location by Siglufjord marina creates the opportunity for its guests to view local fishermen bring in their catch of the day, which later might end on Hannes Boy´s dishes.
The name, Hannes Boy, comes from an old sailor that used to spend his time outside of the newly renovated houses. He was popular with the locals and the kids which is where he got his name “BOY” from.

This is Big Boy the crow. He's been coming around for a couple of months now with his mate. She is very shy but he has become quite friendly. We live in a very rural location so wildlife is very wild so I'm thrilled to have him be a part of my life everyday. Even if he does start cawing right outside my bedroom window at 5am every morning.

I was wandering along this narrow country lane, taking a few shots I could use for Saturday Self-Challenge theme "leading lines", when this idiot rounded the bend & sped past. He had intention of slowing down for pedestrians. Makes you wonder how they pass their driving test.

Taken in mid morning light so not the best shot but you can clearly see that this bull has been through a lot. Zoom in and you can also see how worn his teeth are and I'm guessing that it won't be too long before he succumbs to either death by starvation or predation.

Boy these critters are all over the place out here where I live!! Sam called awhile ago on his way home and said come on...bring my camera as their right down the road. So we've been photographing these elk for the past hour. Boy there's quite a crowd when they show up!!! LOL...sure wish I could get closer!! lol...😄 They always go to the oddest places where you can't photograph them real well....I'm on a bridge here!😜
