Looking for Botox in Nashville? Look no further than Dr. Deborah Sherman in Nashville. Cosmetic procedures that offer little to no downtime are growing in popularity among Nashville residents, looking to enhance their appearance but who are not ready or can’t afford taking time off from work to undergo plastic surgery. Injectables are the most exciting advance in facial contouring and sculpting to date. Facial fillers like Juvederm and Restylane can be used alone or in combination with Botox Cosmetic to achieve the best natural looking results. As in cosmetic plastic surgery finding a qualified professional is critical to the success of non-surgical cosmetic procedures. Located in Nashville Dr. Deborah Sherman of Sherman Aesthetic Center – bit.ly/16eVGyt – is a Board Certified and Fellowship trained in Eye Plastic Surgery and Master Injector in Nashville, and her practice focuses on cosmetic eyelid surgery and no downtime aesthetic procedures. How to Choose a Qualified Injector? The key to getting the best result is to see someone who is a Master Injector with the highest level of training and experience. While there are many people who are able to perform injections, finding someone with training and experience can be more difficult. There is always the possibility of a complication and choosing someone who will be able to handle the complications is key. Beware of professionals who claim they are certified injectors but don’t have any formal plastic surgery training. Plastic Surgeons and Facial Plastic Surgeons are trained in surgery and have a keen understanding of the anatomy of the face as they operate around it every day. Do your homework visit all practices who offer non-surgical cosmetic procedures like Botox Cosmetic, Juvederm and other facial fillers in your area and check their before and after photos. Most qualified professionals will discuss all options available and customize the best treatment for each patient. Why Choose Master Injectable Dr. Deborah Sherman Dr. Sherman of Sherman Aesthetic Center in Nashville, TN has been performing eyelid surgery for over twenty years, she is not only board certified in ophthalmology, but she has advanced her professional education to the highest level of training in plastic surgery around the eyes. Dr. Deborah Sherman is also a Master Injector and has been injecting Botox since 1987 and using Juvederm since its FDA approval. The Sherman Aesthetic Center is known for their natural results, achieved with expertise and great attention to aesthetic details. Types of Injectables Available There are two general classes of injectables: Neuromuscular Toxins and Soft Tissue Fillers. Botox Cosmetic and Dysport are neuromuscular toxins. They block nerve signals that cause muscles to contract, the toxin work directly where it’s placed and can be artistically used to alter facial expressions. Soft Tissue fillers, commonly known as dermal fillers or facial fillers, restore volume to the face and can add structure as well. Various types of facial fillers are available, like Juvederm and Restylane, each designed whit one or several purposes, such as wrinkle reduction and/or lip augmentation. The staff at Sherman Aesthetic Center bit.ly/16eVGyt can work with you to determine which treatment will provide you with optimal and rejuvenating results. A facial analysis will be performed to determine which injectable is right for you based upon your skin type and thickness.

Freeze fat instead of ‘burn’ it off

A group of researchers noted that children sometimes develop cheek dimples after they ate frozen treats like popsicles.

Obviously, the children suffered no long term problems. The researchers studied this and found, fat cells in the children’s cheeks were being destroyed by freezing.

They looked into this more to see if the process could be managed, directed and used as a cosmetic medical procedure. Their work led to the Cryolipolysis® process. It’s now marketed as Coolsculpting.

The process is similar to what happened to the children, except there are no extra calories from a popsicle involved. Directed and controlled cooling with a CoolSculpting machine actually freezes fat cells near the surface of the skin.

The freezing process destroys the fat cell. Over the course of several weeks to two months, the body’s natural processes eliminate the destroyed cells and the fat they contained.

The surrounding skin is not damaged long term. Sometimes there is redness for a day or two similar to a mild sunburn.

The process works because the fat cells freeze at a higher temperature than skin cells. In other words, what destroys a fat cell merely cools a skin cell. No long term skin damage will result.

NO PAIN

Unlike a lot of other cosmetic medical procedures, CoolSculpting is not invasive, doesn’t require drugs or injections and the majority of the time no pain medicine is needed.

The treatment process takes about an hour. Many people read, check email or nap during the procedure. Very few people find it so uncomfortable that they need a mild analgesic. Most people don’t take anything, not even Tylenol.

“Love handles” in particular respond very well to this treatment, but it can be used on the hips, buttocks, thighs, chest and back.

Dr. Braun performs Botox Injections on a client at Vancouver Laser & Skin Care Skin. Botox Injections temporarily reduces or eliminates frown lines, forehead creases, crow’s feet near the eyes and thick bands in the neck.
