Since my little excurison to the East Coast I have been working on catching back up in School and prepping for mid-terms. I haven't had much time to take any new photos. So the other night I grabbed my Canon and headed out to see if I could find anything interesting. Nothing much happened. Though I was captured by the detail in the leaves of this shot. Plus the bokeh is awesome.
Botany Bay Plantation is a 4,630 acre Wildlife Management Area located on the northeast corner of Edisto Island, South Carolina

C507 on the lead of a container trip heading along the goods line to Port Botany.
Behind the C is a 600 class ALCo, followed by another C (all far from their original homes).
Originally called Canal Mill, and built in 1855, this former cotton mill has had several uses since it stopped cotton making in the 1950s. Firstly it was used as a chicken and battery hen "farm" before being sold to a national company for vehicle repairs and parts. In the mid 1990s it was bought and converted into the attraction it is today - a shopping and tourist attraction that is called Botany Bay Villages. The Botany Bay coming from an area of Chorley that housed navvies when the canal was built
