Taken in Boston, MA,

From MIT Sailing Club

Boston, MA

15 second long exposure

Image taken from the enclosed Prudential Skywalk Observatory.

Although the view is spectacular, taking pictures from this place is not an easy task. Tripods are not allowed to be used in the building additionally, the presence of bright lights around the internal walls add glare to the windows and a fastidious reflection.

Thank you for your comments,

Shot taken from a boat my wife and I were on for a Boston Harbor cruise.

She said, I think I'm going to Boston

I think I'll start a new life

I think I'll start it over

Where no one knows my name

Boston Gardens, Boston.

Morning in South Boston finds an MBTA/Keolis OCS starting onto the Amtrak Dorchester Branch at the Fort Point Channel. Powered by "Cranberry scheme" heritage GP40MC 1129 and B&M heritage F40 1030, the train continued south onto the Franklin Branch at Readville, then to the Framingham Secondary at Walpole, then the Northeast Corridor frm Mansfield to Davisville where it was wyed and run back to Boston on the Corridor.

A night out on Washington Street.

Actually, Bonney's fine photo that underlies this image shows the Paramount with lights ablaze in the full light of day, open for a matinee on a rainy afternoon. Quite a different in mood, it is a great photo, upon which the composition of this image entirely depends. I think the solitary car, so perfectly placed in the frame, adds energy as well as balance. Genius!
