Looking for some help with this one. Photographed at Bosque del Apache NWR in May of 2011. Thought initially it might be a juvenile, but not at all certain.

I have posted a double and a juvenile below.

There were plenty of javelinas at Bosque del Apache NWR. I was lucky to see this mother come out of the corn field with her baby. Wikipedia says the babies only weigh one pound when born and this one can't be much larger than that.

There are a few nice-looking male pintails dabbling around in the marshy foreground, too.
