Ruins of a gas station formerly owned by a man named Ed Young. In the late 1920's during prohibition he discovered he could make more money selling moonshine than gas, so he sold a lot of moonshine.

One of the countless natural arch formations that can be found in and around Arches National Park. Corona Arch itself is actually location outside of the park.

Bootlegger Run
~~~~~
Vehicles such as this 1921 Buick Coupe were used to run booze out of the East Mojave into the towns in Arizona and California during Prohibition. The large trunk could accommodate a holding tank, while the large engine could give bootleggers some extra horsepower for clean getaways. Mojave Desert Heritage and Cultural Association in Goffs, CA along historic Route 66. I illuminated the vintage vehicle with a handheld light during the exposure. This photo will appear in my third book of night photography and history of abandoned Route 66.
Found these bootlegs on AliExpress under the search 'romance of the three kingdoms heroes'. And yes, I bought some of them because I could not resist.
Ironically I own a pair of the actual part its based off, but they are tan which I'm not complaining about, I just wish I had tan paint for some TT parts. So I made this.
The 3 head motors were left at Cadet/Big Stone by the Loyal crew returning light from taking C090 to Kingsport earlier. The rock train tangoed with a downed tree around Olinger just before the planned pickup of the extra power at Cadet to ensure the train had enough horsepower to get it over the Appy.
