This is the Entry for Module 1 - Still Life on the Practical Photography BootCamp course. It is a simple bunch of green grapes laid out on white photo paper in my garden. Lit by the sun and with a piece of white card curved behind it as a background and also to reflect the strong light back and reduce the harshness of the shadows a little. Taken on a Canon 450d with a Sigma 100mm EX Macro/Prime lens. 1/250 @ f/8 on Aperture Priority as requested by PP magazine!

Pretty pleased with how this one worked, no editing at all except a slight crop. Found some black velvet which worked really well and found I was able to keep quite alot of light on the bracelet without having to darken the exposure to keep the black black - if you see what i mean!
The velvet has a very slight texture which is just visible but I don't think thats outside the brief.
HCCC would appreciate your comments re exposure - may submit this one as homework
