keeping with tradition in the snowdeal household, saint nicholas stops by our house on december 5th and fills one of odin's boots with gifts.
we get a little advance notice on the gifts and this year, st. nicholas left some finger puppets, an ornament and some chocolates in his rain boot.
luckily for odin, st. nicholas was not accompanied by knecht ruprecht who has been known to threaten to beat, or sometimes actually beat the children for misbehaviour :-)

Bereits um 8:00 Uhr morgens hebt er die Absolute Navetta 58, mit 32 Tonnen die schwerste Yacht des heutigen Tages, in seinen starken Armen aus dem Rhein. Nach dem langen Weg aus dem italienischen Podenzano hat die elegante Motoryacht ihr Ziel in der Düsseldorfer Messehalle 6 – boot Heimat der Luxusyachten – im Visier. Die 17 Meter lange Navetta 58 führt Kraft, Komfort und modernste Technik in einem Einstiegspreis von 1,15 Millionen Euro zusammen.
Die zweite Yacht (Auskranung um 10:00 Uhr), ebenfalls aus dem Hause Absolute Yachts, trägt den Namen Absolute 58 Fly und stammt aus der Modellreihe „Flybridge“ (eine Flybridge ist die Außensteuerstelle einer Yacht. Sie ist eine auf dem Boot aufgesetzte Brücke mit einem Steuerrad, die auch Platz zum Sitzen und Lagermöglichkeiten bietet.) Hochwertig verarbeitet, vereint die 58 Fly Ergonomie und Technik mit italienischem Design, Luxus und Komfort. Ab 1,23 Millionen ist die 17,2 Meter-Motoryacht zu haben.
Die boot Düsseldorf ist als weltweit größte Boots- und Wassersportmesse alljährlich im Januar der „In-Treffpunkt“ der gesamten Branche. Mehr als 1.800 Aussteller, davon 900 aus dem Ausland, aus mehr als 60 Ländern werden vom 20. bis 28. The second yacht, another Absolute Yachts creation called Absolute 58 Fly, is scheduled for lifting at 10:00 and is one of the “Flybridge” model range (a flybridge is the outdoor control station of a yacht. It is a bridge provided on the boat with a wheel and also has space for seating and storage). The 58 Fly is finished to a high quality and combines ergonomics and technology with Italian design, luxury and comfort. The motor yacht is 17.2 metres long and is available for a price starting at EUR 1.23 million. boot Düsseldorf is the biggest boat and water sports trade fair in the world and is the place where all of the industry meets in January every year.
