I went with my uncle and cousins to visit an old elementary school that has been abandoned since the Iraqi Invasion to Kuwait (1990-1991)
This is an Iraqi soldier's Boot & that's commonly found nowadays in Kuwait's desert.

View towards Boot from Dalegarth Station. You can see the storm coming over the Mountains - half an hour or so later it was hailing!
This old boot was at the edge of the water in Eastern Passage. Probably lost overboard from a fishing boat... now if only I could find the other I'd have a new pair of boots ! Fortunately there was not a foot in it (like on the west coast).

The weather report predicted 4-8 inches of snow overnight into Sunday (today). We woke up to maybe 2 inches and a little bit of ice.
I took a old pair of horseback riding boots, cleaned and polished them, folded them down and added a colorful lining!
