Finally finished this last night. No idea why it took so long. Could have been the sick husband and baby, I suppose. Nope, it was probably just me. :)
10 in. by 8 in. (A standard size... a miracle! Woohoo!)
Saw this lady while I was on holiday in Whitby trying out the new coffee lid mobile phone signal booster!
A cute (I guess that's debatable) little stork found at the rookery at the Jacksonville Zoo today. The zoo has maintained a stork rookery for the past several years to boost the population of this once endangered species. I'm not sure whether they're led there or not, but they are definitely free roaming...
Guy Bawkes is an unassuming Orpington chicken, looking to avenge the mistreatment of his people with a hardsuit of his own designs. UVC ray-extraction cells located around the outer shell charge up the cannon. Other arm has dual grips for superior dexterity. Canopy is equipped with thermal and night-vision filters. No flight capabilities (a concept out of reach for chickens, it seems), but thrusters located near the heels allow the suit to "sprint."
Since it has gotten colder outside, I don't get out and ride the Boosted Board as much. Turns out the cold weather and wind affects the already limited range of these boards...disappointing because I can no longer make my short commute to work on a full battery. It was just over 50 degrees today and I had plenty of time to waste so I decided to take it for a spin. Not a bad ride, I just want the winter to fly b so I can get back out and shred the DC streets on the regular again.

Sure, jammers get the glory and are in most of the photos, but they earn it. Eve Ann Hellical of the Rose City Rollers' Axles of Annihilation (Portland, OR) gets ejected to the outside of turn one by Vice'd from Coffee City (Seattle, WA). This was in bout three on the first day of the Cosmo Chaos tournament hosted by California Derby Galaxy as part of WFTDA's Back on Track series.

"...few weeks ago my girlfriend left me-after six years-without a real explanation...it was devastating...I didn´t sleep and eat the first two days...but after few days I got an energy boost and start to change my life...I stopped watching tv and playing playstation...I started meditating almost every day...I am so grateful for my family and friends to hold my back...the only thing I can`t still handle is when I see photos from the past...I was so sure about marrying this girl..."
Photo of American tourists at La Morena in Texcoco, Mexico, "The only Restaurant Bar and Bullfight ring in the world" according to the accompanying folder. People shown are identified as L to R: Miss Anderson (the teen smoker), Mr. E. Levy, Mrs. Levy, Mrs. Carmen Aznar. Unfortunately no date but looks to be about 1968. Summer Olympics in Mexico City boosted tourism to that country.

Taken today, I needed this boost of colour to offset the dull, dreary day. So glad that we had two football games to watch on TV.... Yeah FIFA! Thanks for visiting:)

As I find myself still not up and about as much as I would like, and consequently, not getting out for my usual photo walks, I delved into the archives for images to-date ignored. This one dates from near sunset some 2 years ago and shows the West wall of the Giant Tiger store in downtown Grimsby, Ontario. The colours came out more intense than I had expected in the JPEG SOOC. Not so in the starting of RAW (ORF) processing so I checked out the JPEG more closely and decided to use it as my base. Now, I have to admit, I messed up the manual WB setting, manually selecting Cloudy rather than either Daylight or even using Auto WB. Hence the intense colours SOOC. But I liked the result and here it is. - JW
