The Booking Hall roof, Edinburgh Waverley station.
Waverley station was the collective name of three separate termini opened in 1846 and 1847, although the name only dates from the 1854 opening of the 'Waverley' route to Carlisle via Galashiels and Hawick.
The three independent stations were taken over by the North British Railway in 1866-68, were demolished and replaced by the current station. The dome seen here from below was added in 1897.
The station was designated as a Listed Building, Category A in 1991.

Booking Hotel in Punta Islita, Costa Rica bookinghotelin.com/Puntaislita This ultra-remote, rustic luxe hideaway is worth the bumpy, two-and-a-half hour drive from Liberia Airport. The rooms aren't as impressive as those at larger luxury resorts in the region, but the unparalleled views, stunning infinity pool and ruggedly beautiful (if rocky) beach more than compensate. The Casitas have private terraces with plunge pools.
Went shooting today, not much of a sunset because it was overcast but I stuck around to see what dusk would bring. Clouds were booking, so I think the blue came through in the long exposure (obviously boosted but not as much as you'd think). HDR 3xp.
I design digital scrap booking kit's and sell them. I also do digital scrap booking, using PSP, PS and GIMP. I like to be "creative" and artistic, rather than sticking to the plausible and often "flat" look of scrap booking, my work reflects a more of a care-free, fairy-tale story book feel.
This is one I did of myself running. Some of the items on this page I did not create myself.

We are ultra pleased to announce, bookings are now been taken for our LITTLE OWL site in Yorkshire for 2016.
The Little Owl hide attracts both male and female owls as well as the juveniles until around September. This is a great opportunity to build up a stunning portfolio of these beautiful birds.
The Little owls have been nesting at this site, on a farm close to the city of York, for 16 years now. Two years ago the hide manager built a rough hide and since then has gradually introduced perches near to the old oak tree where they nest.
The tree is situated between crop fields and offers lovely light and clean backgrounds. From early spring to late summer the owls visit the perches regularly and often stay in for a while scratching and preening. The perches can be easily changed giving a photographer the opportunity to create a varied portfolio of images during a single session. A new timber hide is in place for spring we are now taking bookings for May - Sept 2016.
