Een boekwinkel in een kerk. Dominicanenkerk in het centrum van Maastricht.
Fotograferen geen enkel punt. Dat is in sommige winkels in de regel botweg verboden. Maar hier hadden ze er heel handig op ingespeeld.
Op deze gang, de bovenste van de twee, waar voor fotografen de mooiste plaatjes te schieten zijn, was het boekenaanbod hierop afgestemd. Veel over fotografie, fotobewerkingssoftware, computers en fotoboeken van (beroemde) fotografen.
Begane grond, waar vroeger het altaar moet hebben gestaan was nu een uitgebreide coffeecorner. Er werd ook gemusiceerd, helaas waren we hier te laat voor. Aan de vele accordeons te zien moet hier een accordeonvereniging een optreden gehad hebben.
Not quite what I expected from Hay-on-wye ! But in keeping with the season. Books galore and a wonderful lunch too .

I love my kindle and it's quite practical for reading but going to a bookshop will always be fascinating.
