Bonfire on 5 November 2005.

Despite appearances to the contrary this fire refused to take hold properly! It flamed, then smoked and sulked. We'll have to try again another day, unless it decides to go up in the night when we're not looking!

Rachel's younger brother sitting in front of the bonfire I made for us all on the second night. The one I made on the thrid night totally dwarfed this one. If it'd been just me, I'd probably have slept out here in the sand; it was nice and toasty near the fire despite the cold, windy weather.
