I had absolutely no idea that gourds came in such a variety of shapes, textures and colors. I was so stunned (particularly at the blue colors) that I suspected shenanigans.

I was therefore prompted to inquire as to whether or not these had been painted, dyed or otherwise altered in some way. I was assured by the nice lady behind the bin that there had been no artificial coloring or other manipulation of any kind.

I personally kind of like the skinny duck on the upper far left and the swan with whom he's quietly conversing. ;-)

Back in late May, I went to Clow Airport to photograph this plane. It wasn't there. See the rest of the story below.

I saw on Facebook that the plane would be there this week. So, after making sure it actually showed up, I went down today and spent some time taking pictures. While not a particularly beautiful aircraft, it was nevertheless interesting. And I FINALLY had a chance to photograph it. The folks there were very accommodating.

Third time's a charm.
