The BlackBerry Bold 9650 is a recent release from Blackberry mobiles. The device has the display type TFT which is supportive for 65K colours. The gadget is sized of 2.4 inches making it quite huge kind of handset and has a very attractive display screen having the capacity to cover the pixellete area up to 480 x 360 pixels. The device also has Full QWERTY keyboard and Touch-sensitive optical trackpad. Though the phone comes with a heavy price tag, it also comprises of the features matching to that standard. The weight of the handset is 136g making it a moderate handset. What gives it a gigantic look are the dimensions of the phone which are in the figures of 112 x 62 x 14 mm.The phone is available in single color and that is Black. What attracts people the most at first site is the glaze this phone has.

Bronte Models 'Bold & the Beautiful' This one is named 'Taylor'. I have Brooke and Stephanie to finish. If memory serves me right these were the three leading ladies...

A velvet cup, in colors bold,

From winter's sleep, a story told.

The tulip blooms, a vibrant hue,

A touch of spring, a morning dew.

Its stem stands tall, a graceful line,

A beacon bright, where shadows pine.

A fleeting joy, yet hearts it fills,

A promise whispered, o'er gentle hills.

just as i found it sitting next to my building.

Today my apartment had some free activities mainly for the kids but also for anyone who wanted to join in. They had snacks and drinks, clay pot painting and make your own hand sanitizer. I decided to do some painting and enjoy a (very late morning) coffee. First I picked out the plant I wanted. All I know is that it's a cactus, don't know the species or common name. Then they gave me a clay pot and some paint and a tiny paint brush. I got set up, grabbed a very hot coffee which I set aside to let it cool then I started with the yellow paint. It took two coats to cover up most of the clay colour. Then I added some light layers of orange. Then some red at the bottom. I don't know if it was because I was still tired or just not paying attention but I dipped my paint brush (with red paint on it) into my coffee. I hadn't even had a sip yet! I used some tissue to soak up the little spot of red and took my first sip. One of the best instant coffee's I've ever had! Must have been the (non toxic) paint. After that little ordeal I went at it with the black. Almost done and they started cleaning up so I had to rush to get it finished. The top rim was the last part I did so it's a little sketchy, but I'm happy with the end result. I also got allot of complements well painting this, mostly in Thai so I didn't understand everything. I heard sawai allot which means beautiful. I got so much attention I felt a little famous. It was a nice way to start the day and kill some time.

This card was made according to the current sketch for the Hero Arts Challenge for April 2013. On Saturday (April 6, 2013) I entered the quickcard57 challenge that was hosted by stampinsue. Her challenge was to make a card that was all white or that was black, white, gray, and silver. I choose the black and white. I liked the black and white so much that I decided to make another one and enter it in the April HR challenge. I used the sketch by Hero Arts and this is what I came up with. I love black and white cards; they always look so elegant.

These kids were among those who came out at dawn to watch a group of birders get excited, watching tropicbirds.

They were not shy at all about posing for a few shots.

BlackBerry BOLD

Get out of my face!

Bold Forbes was a Thoroughbred race horse from the 1970's

Bold Forbes had only a 3 year but successful race career. As a 3 year old colt, Bold Forbes won both the Kentucky Derby and Belmont Stakes. He would finish 3rd at the Preakness which would stop him from becoming a Triple Crown winner. Bold Forbes would be named 3 Year Old Horse of the Year that year in 1976 but then be retired. He had career winnings of just over $500 thousand.

Bold Forbes was sent to Paris, Ky where he would be pout out to stud. He would produced horses that would total over 300 victories, 30 of which were stakes winners. The offspring of Bolde Forbs would win over $18 million.

Bold Forbes would be sent to the Hall of Champions at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Ky in 1992. He would spend the next 8 years of retirement there before dying in 2000. Bold Forbes was buried there at the Hall of Champions.

Huge jumping spider! It's the biggest one I've ever seen here in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He is on a rippled glass table, not ice lol.

Big thanks to JMBower for identifying this fascinating spider!

Phidippus audax is a common jumping spider of North America. It is commonly referred to as the Daring Jumping Spider, or Bold Jumping Spider. The average size of adults ranges from roughly 13 to 20 mm in length.

These spiders are typically black with a pattern of spots and striped on their abdomen and legs. Often these spots are orange-tinted in juveniles, turning white as the spider matures.

The Daring Jumping Spider belongs to the genus Phidippus, a group of jumping spiders easily identified both by their relatively large size and their iridescent chelicerae. In the case of P. audax, these chelicerae are a bright, metallic green or blue.

These spiders have been known to jump up to 50 times their own body length and the male may jump away during mating if the female approaches too quickly.

Like other jumping spiders, due to their large, forward facing eyes, they have very good stereoscopic vision. This aides them when stalking prey, and allows some visual communication with others of their species, such as courting 'dances'.

Like most jumping spiders, P. audax tends to prefer relatively open areas to hunt in, as they actively seek and stalk prey and do not build webs. They do use webbing when laying eggs or to hide. They also use spider silk as a 'lifeline' when jumping for prey or evading predators.

They are common in fields and grasslands, but are frequently seen on fences, exterior walls, and gardens as well. Many jumping spiders seem to prefer flat vertical surfaces, likely due to the fact that it enables them to spot and chase down roaming insects with ease.

These spiders like sunshine and do their hunting during the day. They walk with an irregular gait and leap on their prey. Their excellent eyesight aids them in stalking prey, and their large appetites make them a beneficial resident of the garden. Even though they do not spin webs, jumping spiders can always be seen attached to a line of silk that protects them from falling should they miss their prey. The female uses this silk to make a retreat where she produces her egg sac and tends to it until the spiderlings hatch and disperse.

Although scary looking, these spiders are non-poisonous and are not harmful to humans.
