I know it isn't that interesting, but I loved the contrast of the wispy streaking clouds and the bold ones scudding across in the opposite direction

He is the best man who, when making his plans, fears and reflects on everything that can happen to him, but in the moment of action is bold.

Another shot of the Bharatanatyam's performance on Diwali 2010. MIT Bharatanatyam team always presents some epic performances, and this one on the 2010 Diwali show was no different. The looks, the moves and and the mood of their performance set them to a class above most.

Blackpool Transport tram 002 turns into Bold Street to terminate on the service from Starr Gate to Fleetwood Ferry.

I am not 100% happy with this pic but I just don't know what else I can do :)

I think it's too bright, but when I made it darker, it looks unpleasant.

Ah anyway..

Have a nice weekend! We are off to dinner. :)

Wrapped in chrome with a wing big enough to use as a family dining table, this SLS AMG GT3 is certainly bold!

Assignment:

The definition of bold:

1. Fearless and daring; courageous.

2. Requiring or exhibiting courage and bravery.

3. Unduly forward and brazen;

4. Clear and distinct to the eye; conspicuous

Your goal for this assignment is to compose and take a photo of something that fits one or more of the definitions bold. Go for vivid, saturated colors, big brash subjects...go forth and be bold! While you are seeking out the boldness around you, be sure remember the elements of composition, dof, and all that other great photography stuff.

WIT: A lot of jumping, a lot of shooting random birds, and the quest for the perfect alleyway on a dreary day.

This is what happens when I get what I think is a great idea and I can't quite get it together to my satisfaction.

I wanted it to feel like you just walked into that dingy alleyway and heard the rustle and sound of pigeons above looked, and pow, there is the flash of a silhouette of a guy leaping from rooftop to rooftop.

EDIT: Yeah its Photoshop - I just wanted to surprise a bit... I think he could have made it to the drain pipe though ;)

It is a sign of great courage to launch a decisive attack while being under attack by seemingly insurmountable odds.

Liverpools's Bold Street

Leaf

65-67 Bold Street, Liverpool

Built in 1828, the building was originally a chapel, the Art Deco frontage was added in 1935 to create the premises of William Watson, Motor Car Dealer.

Bold street was named as 'The Bond Street of the North' and the 1828 chapel became a place of entertainment called Queen's Hall. Following that particular incarnation it became, The Panorama Hall, Queen's Operetta House and the Bijou Opera House and the 1890's it became the Yamen Cafe. In the 1920s it became a Tea Room and to this day with high ceilings and lots of beautiful original features it remains a jewel in the Bold Street crown.

The building is one of the finest examples of Art Deco Architecture in the UK and its current owners LEAF present a variety of events working closely with the local community to deliver a distinctive events programme throughout the year with an acoustic stage downstairs and an upstairs that transforms between being a live gig venue and very flexible event space. They also serve up a menu of locally-sourced and freshly-made wholesome food and countless varieties of loose-leaf tea.

This cheeky squirrel was stealing seeds from the backyard bird feeder. As soon as he saw me poke the camera out of the window to document his bold thievery, he climbed down and tried to play innocent by eating the spillage on the ground.
