I much prefer my camera's blurry view of my drive to work.

This photo is a little surprise. It was not the view initially sought, but I was impressed by the bokeh generated by chains! This is the kind of unexpected that I particularly like in the photograph !

An early morning walk through Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, Boothbay, Maine

An example of Planar bokeh. Some color tonning is done with Darktable. Not that I do not like original combination of lens and Nikon standard presset, but tI eas in this mood when I "develloped" the photo.

The Bokeh Fairy is in our back yard!! Or maybe it's the lens. ;-)

I am passionate about vintage lenses, abusing background blur and infrared photography. So here are almost all my photo passions in one single photo.

or man’s reaction to the life around him. Here is one province where it can be said with some certainty that the camera does not lie. It cannot afford to try :-)

Fiddling with the aperture to get bigger better bokeh.

These little ones were captured a week ago also, but the TransMontana of MMV ( flic.kr/p/2pDz1CE ) deserved to be released earlier. I watched these little flowers every morning while going to work, and hoped they will survive the week without wounds. On the end of the week they looked well enough for some bokeh pictures.

Grido

Giunta la sera

Riposavo sopra l’erba monotona

E presi gusto

A quella brama senza fine,

Grido torbido e alato

Che la luce quando muore trattiene.

I love this light that shows me

What It 'Is'

And captures me

To make me be.

Woth M.O.G. Primoplan 58mm f1.9. Here we may better see possiblities to render an interesting background bokeh with sharp edged bubbles,

A photo is taken toward the sun and primpolan looses easily the contrast in those situations. Dehazing and reconstruction of contrast is done in Darktable.
