Today was fine. Fridays are chill for the most part in general. EXCEPT I stained my white shirt at lunch so that was annoying. I went to the food trucks and it was delicious despite ruining my outfit.
I got a shoutout in our work email today! Under the “congratulations” section:
“Alex, who is almost through her first summer at YH Pedi- there is nothing like trying to squeeze kids in for well visits in Pedi in the summer. Somehow Alex is sprinkling fairy dust on the schedule and finding slots one day at a time.”
I’m so glad it’s Friday. This week was too much. Still sad and heartbroken but trying to rally.
I watched Prom Night, the 2008 remake. One of my favorite scary movies. I was on Timehop this morning and I’d watch it last year today, and was thinking about it all day.
I also tried watching Jungle Cruise but something was up with Disney+ so that didn’t work.*

Yesterday was tough. I just went back and added a caption so go on over and check it out bc it was my first day of work!
Today was my second day and it was better. I did some more “onboarding” stuff, got my ID and my Epic account is alllllmost set up. I don’t have all the functions yet so we’re gonna try again tmrw. So I mostly just watched Mary Kate take calls. We lost power for almost an hr after lunch and since I’m in the call center there’s no generator so overall it was a chill day.
I’ve been feeling really comfortable with my body lately which is weird because I’ve always been insecure. But the last few weeks I’ve been embracing my body and it’s kind of the only area of myself/my life that I’m enjoying right now.
