Still you love to think you have always been this way

Well I'd love to think you will someday feel the same

Sometimes these kids can be a real test of the resilience and strength of the adults who love and teach them, and of course they usually end up teaching us more about the strength of human character and ambition.

The Patron Saint of Librarians - St Fu

The most compelling thing about this shot, is that the guy appeared to look right into my camera...

at 9mos, baby thomas already has his father's hairline.

I started to scan old slides with my new CanoScan8800F. It's fun.

Douglas Rugby Club - Picture by Mike Wade - Isle of Man Newspapers

I've spent most of this year trying to decide on the focus of my flickr photostream, the theme, the direction and etc etc. In the end, I am as undecided about it as I am about other matters in my life. I've however, manage to at least decide to be a little more personal.

This photo I think is bordering dangerously between being artistic and being downright scary (or that's just my paranoia). But from the evening light and when I saw the photo in the preview of my camera, I knew I wanted to create this effect and I'm quite happy with the results.

TPMG is an internet based camera club in Toronto

see here for more info: www.tpmg.ca/

recently the club had an event which required you to try and make some images on an assigned topic. The topic was a conceptual one titled “Between Spaces”. With the following definition being given:

Between Spaces: an idea about the cracks between things conceptually speaking - down time - the time it takes to get from one place to another - time spent waiting, resting, and ideas about being between two states of mind, two places.....

These three images were for that assignment. Thanks to my model Shelley.
