The Feline Body Language !!
What you can see in these photos is the magnificent body language of a young lion boy ---- in progress of full expression of it !!, who is about to ….attack !!
Attack whom, and where??? Well, attack some madly playing happy hyenas -- a whole big family of them -- just a few meters away from him : in their own large enclosure of Pairi Daiza Zoo Park! ( www.pairidaiza.eu/en ) In the end of his …expressive parade, he arrives close to his sister, who hides behind a rock , having a perfect…..attacking view , very close to the hyenas…
The hyenas’ enclosure is found just next to a large water feature , opposite to the lions’ enclosure. All of them, lions and hyenas, can perfectly watch and perceive each other… But the funny thing is, that hyenas are perfectly comfortable and relaxed, while the young lions can’t help their predator’s nature…
And the lion story is going to continue, soon…

Even when they're all grown up(2 in college, 1 a Junior in High School), our kids are still a blast to hang out with! We were having fun with saturating the colors in these shots, hence the bright yellow in this picture...brought out from the sunrise. I will post the original soon.

самое крутое в домодедово - это то, что дома там находятся прямо напротив друг друга. в ростове кстати также, там где дедушка жил. и одно из сильных самых моих воспоминаний детских. летом все окна были открыты, и я с дедушкиного балкона всегда смотрела, что творится в квартирах дома напротив. на кухнях. там кухни были. планировка такая.
в домодедово дома дальше, плохо видно, что в квартирах происходит, но когда по телеку одно и то же смотрят - одинаково мигает. вот в этот день в три ночи мы как раз это увидели!

Taken in 2007, six years ago and a big pring of it is still in my living room. Those from Morocco where far away from my culture and these two bring them near me. So much humanity I felt looking at them, meeting, holding, speaking.
This was captured during a live circus show, when the brave Armenian artist walked the tight wire 30 feet above the ground.... Used 200mm at F2.8 and ISO 1600 as the light conditions were extremely low. The follow spot behind gave me the chance to get something different :-)
