The small game board offers space for 6 coconuts, each with monkeys of one color. The players try to collect a monkey of each color as quickly as possible.
On a turn, the player rolls the dice. The result allows him to do one of the following actions: view contents of a nut, rotate the game board, swap 2 notes, guess what color monkeys are in a coconut. In this last action, the player may take a monkey from the nut and place it in his supply.
The player who first has all 6 suits wins the game.

Happy Macro Monday
For the Macro Modays theme: "Board game pieces".
I don't play chess, but for some reason have a tiny game of chess made out of glass. I put all the pieces on the table and then picked one with my eyes closed. It turned out to be the Bishop ;-) ( His size is about 3cm)
Happy Macro Monday everyone! Have a wonderful and creative week ahead ;-)
Not a board game in the house so I had to make one quickly. Thank goodness for the one dice we have. It came out of a Christmas cracker and I kept it because it was round. For some reason it works perfectly well.
The Monopoly car wasn’t part of the original six game tokens (the hat, thimble, iron, shoe, cannon, and battleship), but it did appear early in 1937 aa a token in Monopoly
HMM!

Hello my amazing Flickr friends !
Today is a red day at Color my World Daily and we celebrate board game pieces at Macro Monday.
Since I’m not a board game or card player, this theme was a challenge for me. Of course, we have plenty of board games since my sons and husband love to play ! And when the boys are playing i can enjoy some others much more fun activities…. Like drinking wine in my very calm pool, just calmly folding laundry or daydreaming about beating the casino in Las Vegas and wining the jack pot at the roulette table!! Unfortunately it is only a dream and I have to go since I still have to work for my money and today is Monday so another video meeting ;-).
Mucho, mucho amor for you all !! Have a beautiful day and see you later!!

FYI: my dice is about 1cm by 1cm, so a very standard dice size…

The game provides a Kalah board and a number of seeds or counters. The board has 6 small pits, called houses, on each side; and a big pit, called an end zone, at each end. The object of the game is to capture more seeds than one's opponent.
Hello everyone,
This week's Macro Mondays theme is "Board game pieces." Naturally, Monopoly came to mind although I must admit I was never very good at this quintessential board game. Happy Macro Mondays! HMM!
Thanks a million for stopping by and for leaving me a comment. I do love hearing from you!
Have a marvelous day and week ahead!

Thanks for all your faves and comments everyone!
I really appreciate them!
I found an older Monopoly game at a Flea Market a few years ago. I love it. All the classic pieces were within it. Visually it is such a lovely board game.
Happy Macro Mondays

No modeling clay involved this time. These are stacked "Mensch ärgere Dich nicht" game pieces a millisecond (or so) before the tower tumbled down. "Mensch ärgere Dich nicht" (Man, don't get angry!") is a German board game classic based on the Indian game Pachisi and the English game Ludo. It was developed by Josef Friedrich Schmidt in 1907/1908 and has been sold over 90 Million times since then. I wanted to skip at first, because I'm not really a board game player, and thus also don't really have any board games – except a small box of travel games bought for... a previous Macro Mondays "game" theme. Of course :) I still had no idea what to do with the fairly boring-looking game pieces, but noticed that the plastic cones were hollow – which makes them stackable. So the attempt here obviously was to capture the game pieces tower in the moment of the fall. To make the tower fall, I've used a toothpick which I've retouched with the clone-stamp later in PS. I made a few beginner's mistakes using the Oly's "Pro Capture" mode, but the picture turned out quite nicely anyways, so up it goes :) The height of the stacked game piece tower was 4,5 cm / 1,7 inches, so, together with the reflection and the negative space above the yellow cone, the frame, which I've also cropped quite considerably, should be well within the 3 inches limit.
Happy Macro Mondays, Everyone, stay safe and healthy!
