We were given a watercolour of this scene as a wedding present and I have been wanting to recreate it in a photograph for a while. The sun position in the painting was recently replicated, but on the morning in question failed to materialise. In fact this was taken in steady rain prior to sunrise.

Thanks to all who take the time to comment or mark as a favourite.

... yes, one more ice capture for the theme ... ;))

I put some dried berries and coloured peppercorns in the ice cube tray when filling it with water ... these are the berries, a little bit thawed (the peppercorns really didn't work). I used a blue-toned LED-light to produce the blue colour of the icecube.

My first attempt to take a rather low key macro...

for Macro Mondays - theme of December 10th, 2018: vowel - meaning: photographing something that starts with a vowel (the letter a, e, i, o, u)

width of this capture: between 2 and 2.5 cm - the berries are 0.5 to 0.6 cm and the round icecube is 4 cm in diameter

Happy Macro Monday everyone!!

Thanks a lot for taking a look at my capture and for your feedback. I appreciate it very very much : ))

Something kind of boring,

Something kind of blue...

And we who thought there were only one captain and one ship

Well I guess this is the proof then

At least there are two ships out there, and two captains

Lol

I love this bridge

It's situated between Haugesund and the island Karmøy and today the fog came swirling up from the North Sea and with the sun shining it became pretty cool light.

We need them, don't we

If not present directly in front of you

Because

We all don't have this kind of places to go to

I'm blessed that way, I know that, I cherish it for all it's worth

All my wonderful places

But, I'm sharing them with you

A sanctuary doesn't need to be a place.

Most often it's not

Most often it's a state of mind

But it need to be peaceful tho

So if my images can give you a quiet moment, well then I get EvaThrilled

I don't need much in life to get the thrill, you might say, anyway that's how I'm made

Influencing others in the good way, is my mission.

Both in real life and in social media

So now that's out in the open, lol

I have soon 2K followers here

(and that is a number I even can't understand, partying with you in my forest would have been awesome, I wouldn't have room in my garden, lol)

and I think that being aware of my mission is even more important.

Giving you a visual pleasure by looking at my photos, I have planted lots of good vibes in every one

If you are reading the descriptions, well maybe I can give you small moments of thoughts, perhaps a laughter, a feeling of friendship, maybe giving you the feeling that we do share one thing together

and that is Love

It always goes back to that

Love

You know

Love is the greatest gift of them all

And we are all part of Love, it's as simple as that

Regents Street, Cambridge. Things were looking bluetiful. Look: light in the sky! I was mow in the company of the early morning workers, like the bin men.

Our family holiday from a couple of years ago. Problem being in Holland is that there is no blue sky or blue water, so reaching back in the archive for this theme.

Take care

Always when loved ones are on the move, I worry

Not a lot

of course

But enough

Well, sometimes a lot

But

You can't stop life from happening

You can't stop travelling

We are built to be on the move

Either it's work

Or pleasure

Or within (yes you saw that one coming)

On your way towards whatever your destination is today I give you this light

Blue for calming your stress when you are on the move

Pink for the love I'm feeling for you

And you can see the sun is coming through, giving us the light

The light we all have inside, we all are one of

We are from the same source

How cool isn't that

Safe travels you all

I realized that my daughter blouse and Minnewanka Lake are the same color. What a coincidence!

There was quite a lot of haze from the wildfires in BC. Yesterday, the smoke came to Edmonton.

I took this photo recently in a natural reserve in Belgium. These blue frogs

are really tiny. The above picture has been shot with the Samsung Smart

Lots of yatchs just waiting

When will life start

It's no ice on the fjord

Can we take the yacht out for a drive

Quite a lot of things to do before we can start the season

The season where everythings wakes up

Mmmmm

Spring

Lucky me

I have spring in Oslo

I have spring on the west coast when I visit mom

Eventually I too will have spring, if not many days tho - it will probably jump from winter till summer in a few days.

Nothing I can do about that, just have to enjoy what I have.

And I do, immensely.

Turkey tails, (Trametes versicolor) oddly, on burnt wood - usually likes it rotten and damp. Beautifully soft and velvety but tastes dry leather.

I found this very bluetiful Porsche 991 Turbo S at the Route 35/Route 121 Intersection in Cross River, New York today.

This is Oslo sjømannsskole and it sure looks like a castle.

Its visible from all over Oslo and is now an ordinary school.

My granddad was captain in the US, he had his education here in this building.

You should've seen him, the looks he had and they blue blue eyes were awesome. They all melted. Every time he came home from his journeys he had loads of nice things in his suitcase.

My sister and I had the most beautiful dresses and looked like angels, with no wings attached, lol.

When he visited me in Oslo, when I was studying (in like 1897) he was so happy that I could take him for a drive around in Oslo to show him what it all looked like after all these years.

Close to this school it has always been a restaurant, with a marvelous view (Ekeberg Restaurant). I took him to this restaurant and he enjoyed it so much, eating his shrimps - he was quite touched by memories and being back.

It's nice to do these kind of things, isn't it - taking the old ones around. They often don't want to bother us, but deep down they ofc want to join in life.

Of course.

Portraits of a river

Lovely sunset this evening/afternoon 😋

Lots of people downtown buying the last gifts (hopefully).

And I am done too, woohoo 😁

And I even had time to enjoy the company of one of my kids ❤

Last Sunset of August...even the sky is blue knowing the playfulness of Summer nights is coming to an end........

Blue can calm you down

Blue can get you refreshed

Blue can make you see things differently

Blue make you rethink

Blue is the color of the throat chakra

If you feel for using this color, wearing it, it inspires you to use your words

The words that sometimes may get stuck

Stuck, because of all the feelings you have inside you

Oh yes - its always them wretched feelings, isn't it

We are often afraid to touch the feelings

They can hurt

They make us tremble

Adrenaline rush in our body

They make us cry

They make us even laugh

When you use words to describe your feelings you will move on, you will grow, the growth within which is so important

Eventually you won't get hurt either, because you will understand that we are feelings

How can we be afraid of what we are

I even have a hint of purple in this sky, this color belongs to our 3.eye chakra (in the middle of your forehead), which is the inspiration color for your intuition.

Intuition and words, wow what a combinaiton.

If you want this image tag yourself in this photo and it will belong to you as well as me.

I'm happy to share you know, that is caring ♥️♥️♥️

It's going all the way

All the way to eternity

How far you want it to go is all up to you

Well

Him

And

Me

Oh my

I have never ever had so much fun, laughing so much

Loving so much

Being loved so much

Adoring a guy so much

All feelings are flooding

2018 is The Year

for awakening
