The amazing architecture of the Blue Mosque viewed from the courtyard just after dawn. I visisted the mosque early in the morning and it was a fantastic time to visit to beat the crowd as I was the only person there until a photo tour group joined me a little later. Luckily by that time I had captured a few images and was happy to move on.

4 May 2013. I was a beginner photographer. I wanted to take a special photo. So, i came up an idea with taking the view of water with Blue Mosque. Canon 600D, 1/4000 sec. f/10, iso 1000.

The Blue (or Friday) Mosque is one of 2 mosques in Katara Cultural Village. This, the largest, is very colourful and ornate and the design features persian and turkish influences. As always, tripods are not allowed in Katara so this night shot is handheld at high ISO

This mosque is known as Blue Mosque because of the blue tiles used inside.
