A photo taken just after the sunset on a stormy day. I did not retouch a bit here, to show the untouched remakrable colors that nature has to offer if we just open up our eyes.
I mean with a little color shift and tint this would be easily to do - but it's not.

Cityscape during the blue hour. There were dramatic clouds that just didn't really pan out like I had hoped.
Another sort of beauty shot to put here, and here alone. This is a little fanciful, with the saturation ramped up more than I usually would to make this snowy evening scene more wintry feeling (Originally I had planned to have much of the snow reflecting purple, but after hitting Auto Color gave me this version, where the trees are at least realistically colored, I experimented and realized that less was more with the purple highlights.
My best picture so far of falling snow ... Even now looking at it makes me feel cold, yet enticed into the magical possibilities of a winter night.

Wikipedia reports: "Yosemite is one of the largest and least fragmented habitat blocks in the Sierra Nevada, and the park supports a diversity of plants and animals. The park has an elevation range from 2,127 to 13,114 feet (648 to 3,997 m) and contains five major vegetation zones: chaparral and oak woodland, lower montane forest, upper montane forest, subalpine zone, and alpine. Of California's 7,000 plant species, about 50% occur in the Sierra Nevada and more than 20% within Yosemite. There is suitable habitat for more than 160 rare plants in the park, with rare local geologic formations and unique soils characterizing the restricted ranges many of these plants occupy."
