Usually, Roses are red
But this Rose is blue
And this unique one
Is only glowing for You
Although ...
This BLUE-tifulness
Is not genuine, I guess

marche dans cette eau purificatrice, peut-être te guérira-t-elle...
Mon père pensait que mettre les pieds dans l'eau froide du fleuve Saint-Laurent avait de grands bien faits sur la santé...j'aime croire qu'il avait raison...

Smile on Saturday : Blue - tiful
Blue very profoundly develops the element of calm
Wassily Kandinsky, Artist
A remake of an older shot. A beautiful antique Chevy truck. It's the first one I thought of when I learned of the theme! I even added a blue texture! Happy Smile on Saturday!
SECOND TIME AROUND: One of my favorite shots and edits. I'm moving it up to share because Joel posted a great shot.

So I can remember ...
Blue Jay interesting fact: the pigment in Blue Jay feathers is actually brown. If you come across a Blue Jay feather, try backlighting it. Without direct light, the blue is no longer reflected and the feather will look brown.
I've just been having a wander through the archives and came across this sweet blue.
Perhaps I overlooked it because the antennae weren't quite in focus, but how pretty does it look in this light?
A happy March find for sure :)
I had some blue / teal thread ball lights at home. Illuminated it and took the photo in low key for this week's "blue-tiful" theme in "Smile on Saturday "
I captured my Universe
My goldenscape
It's a silent world
But it has my sun inside, so I have caught the suns warmth
A waterdrop from an icicle
Just about to let go
But obviously it's not ready to let go all the way
Spring is waiting just around the corner
This is definitely the positive proof that it is coming
I will never let go of my hopes
Up to minus 20C (-4F) the last two days, brrrr is the right word..
Imagine a blanket or two
A little picknick in these surroundings
Two glasses
A bottle of omnom
And the most important
The one you love
No one is around
The world is yours
Being romantic with only the stars watching
I guess you will see a star shooting off
Is it Sirius up there
Yes I guess so
It sure is blinking in red white and blue
I think heaven is here
At least I'm touching it
Enjoying the moment and
Carpe Diem
Can I double the fun, imagine
Yes, I can
"Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today (ah ah ah)
Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion, too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace
You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world
You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one"
This was the day I had all kind of colours on the sky.
Pure blue is often not so interesting to see, I like clouds - they give the photos the little extra.
But I was Evathrilled even tho 😂 so when we went up the mountain towards the blue-tiful sky I melted, especially when my fluffbutt stopped, sigh ♥♥♥
Yesterday we had the strangest skies all day, sun, cloud and rain. Later we had a beautiful sunset with raindrops creating bokeh on my window. I looked for a rainbow outside, not realising I had caught the rainbow in this image through my window with my blue'tiful Bluebells
Have a great Sunday

This is the Upper Derwent Valley, three linked reservoirs surrounded by hills and woods. It is incredible beautiful and peaceful. No cars are allowed in the furthest parts and there is no phone signal! Straight from the camera.
I'm your Oslo Guide for free, lol.
This 12 metres high sculpture is floating on the fjord and it's supposed to be an artistic iceberg.
Now it's surrounded by the ice.
It's just outside the Opera House, in the Oslofjord.
Our Opera House is pretty new and has been a magnet for us all, with a great view from the roof, and you can walk all over it.
It's situated close to the water - with no fences and straight down to the fjord so you could easily jump into the water.
Don't think I would recommend it tho.
The building itself resembles an iceberg too.
New Zealand may be known as Aotearoa, “the land of the long white cloud,” but after seeing many scenes like this while there, I think they missed the memo. It should be called the land of the long blue water. The seascapes were blue-tiful.
The Bay of Islands served up every shade of blue imaginable - from deep navy to sky-blue. It was hard not to feel blue, in the best possible blue-minded, blue-hearted way. It was so blue-nique I almost started blue-thering on about it to strangers on the boat.
But I’ll stop before I blue-plode. Let’s just say the view was blue-mptuous, blue-mazing, blue-lightful, and I was totally blue-tifully overwhelmed by the whole thing.
If you ever need a place to stop feeling blue, this is the spot.
Hope everyone's week is going well. Thanks as always for stopping by — your visits and comments are truly appreciated!
Waterscape 98 of 100 in 2025
It gives me so much to go out for a walk
Look at what I'm surrounded by
All the thinking I can do
All the good vibes I get
Just by looking around
Laughing at Aiko
Talking to him, yes him
Suck it all in
It's beauty everywhere
I've done lots of thinking and I'm sort of crash landing
So now when I'm out hiking
It's time for music
Doing some moves while out walking
Feeling alive
Listening to other than myself
Lol
Singing
Yes
Life is good
Am I weird
Yes
It's a good thing
My Spotify is filled with them old dudes, Dire Straits, Knopfler, Pink Floyd, Gilmore, Genesis and this one by Camel

Have a nice Sunday you guys, It's minus 9C, but the sun is shining here today :D
Maybe we will have a little bit less snow when the evening comes, maybe.
High up, soon looking down to the fjord, way down there.
I love the light up here, trails everywhere, AIko is on the alert, sniffing in scents, enjoying the trip immensely.
I had no idea what these tracks were tho, but we followed them all the way down the valley.
No elk for sure.
Wow was I EvaThrilled today.
I don't know what to call Aiko, perhaps he was AikoThrilled, lol.
Thank you so much for all the wonderful comments and for taking the time to Fav my photos, my very best wishes to you all for 2020.
