On 23-24 July, I was invited to join XL Net Rally 2011, a service preparation by PT XL Axiata, one of main cellular providers in Indonesia, for Ramadan and Eid ul-Fitr great holiday. The rally was held on the train, Jakarta to Semarang, Central Java, for network monitoring; a night at Semarang attending Obrolan Langsat (Obsat), a talkshow exposing XL and police department's Traffic Management Center (TMC)'s readiness on Eid ul-Fitr's great holiday trip; and ended on Sunday morning for city sightseeing on two main tourist venues at Semarang.
While at the day before, similar event had been carried out to a group of journalists, I was invited as blogger, among about twenty others.

This is a photograph from finish of the 6th annual Braveheart 5KM Trail Run which was held in the wonderful historic grounds of Trim Castle, Trim, Co. Meath, Ireland at 20:00 on Friday 12th June 2015. This unique event is staged along the banks of the Boyne and takes in many of the medieval sites of the town through the Porchfields. The heritage trails of Trim are an excellent leisure resource, and always prove popular with runners. Trim Castle, the largest Anglo-Norman castle in Ireland, was constructed over a thirty-year period by Hugh de Lacy and his son Walter. Hugh de Lacy was granted the Liberty of Meath by King Henry II in 1172. This race is the envy of many in Ireland as it is an opportunity for runners to run in the grounds of one the world's most historic castles. The 5KM course is a mixture of solid and firm short grass trails, short meadow grass and tarmac footpaths. The course follows many of the well worn local running tracks around the Porchfields and Castle area. This year over 550 runners took part. The race setting presents itself as one of the most unique in Ireland. While the evening was cool by summer weather terms it was perfect for racing. Congratulations to everyone in Trim AC for staging an incredible night of racing. The bright summer evening made the event one which was raced in the most perfect of settings. From humble beginnings this race is now one of the best attended and popular 5KM races in the region.
This is a set of photographs from the end of the race until about the 28 minute finish time. The full set is available at www.flickr.com/photos/peterm7/sets/72157654066355928

USING OUR PHOTOGRAPHS - A QUICK GUIDE AND ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONS
Can I use these photographs directly from Flickr on my social media account(s)?
Yes - of course you can! Flickr provides several ways to share this and other photographs in this Flickr set. You can share directly to: email, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Tumblr, LiveJournal, and Wordpress and Blogger blog sites. Your mobile, tablet, or desktop device will also offer you several different options for sharing this photo page on your social media outlets.
BUT..... Wait there a minute....
We take these photographs as a hobby and as a contribution to the running community in Ireland. We do not charge for our photographs. Our only "cost" is that we request that if you are using these images: (1) on social media sites such as Facebook, Tumblr, Pinterest, Twitter,LinkedIn, Google+, VK.com, Vine, Meetup, Tagged, Ask.fm,etc or (2) other websites, blogs, web multimedia, commercial/promotional material that you must provide a link back to our Flickr page to attribute us or acknowledge us as the original photographers.
This also extends to the use of these images for Facebook profile pictures. In these cases please make a separate wall or blog post with a link to our Flickr page. If you do not know how this should be done for Facebook or other social media please email us and we will be happy to help suggest how to link to us.
I want to download these pictures to my computer or device?
You can download this photographic image here directly to your computer or device. This version is the low resolution web-quality image. How to download will vary slight from device to device and from browser to browser. Have a look for a down-arrow symbol or the link to 'View/Download' all sizes. When you click on either of these you will be presented with the option to download the image. Remember just doing a right-click and "save target as" will not work on Flickr.
I want get full resolution, print-quality, copies of these photographs?
If you just need these photographs for online usage then they can be used directly once you respect their Creative Commons license and provide a link back to our Flickr set if you use them. For offline usage and printing all of the photographs posted here on this Flickr set are available free, at no cost, at full image resolution.
Please email petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com with the links to the photographs you would like to obtain a full resolution copy of. We also ask race organisers, media, etc to ask for permission before use of our images for flyers, posters, etc. We reserve the right to refuse a request.
In summary please remember when requesting photographs from us - If you are using the photographs online all we ask is for you to provide a link back to our Flickr set or Flickr pages. You will find the link above clearly outlined in the description text which accompanies this photograph. Taking these photographs and preparing them for online posting takes a significant effort and time. We are not posting photographs to Flickr for commercial reasons. If you really like what we do please spread the link around your social media, send us an email, leave a comment beside the photographs, send us a Flickr email, etc. If you are using the photographs in newspapers or magazines we ask that you mention where the original photograph came from.
I would like to contribute something for your photograph(s)?
Many people offer payment for our photographs. As stated above we do not charge for these photographs. We take these photographs as our contribution to the running community in Ireland. If you feel that the photograph(s) you request are good enough that you would consider paying for their purchase from other photographic providers or in other circumstances we would suggest that you can provide a donation to any of the great charities in Ireland who do work for Cancer Care or Cancer Research in Ireland.
Let's get a bit technical: We use Creative Commons Licensing for these photographs
We use the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License for all our photographs here in this photograph set. What does this mean in reality?
The explaination is very simple.
Attribution- anyone using our photographs gives us an appropriate credit for it. This ensures that people aren't taking our photographs and passing them off as their own. This usually just mean putting a link to our photographs somewhere on your website, blog, or Facebook where other people can see it.
ShareAlike – anyone can use these photographs, and make changes if they like, or incorporate them into a bigger project, but they must make those changes available back to the community under the same terms.
Above all what Creative Commons aims to do is to encourage creative sharing. See some examples of Creative Commons photographs on Flickr: www.flickr.com/creativecommons/
I ran in the race - but my photograph doesn't appear here in your Flickr set! What gives?
As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we feel that we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:
►You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera
►Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set
►There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone
►We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!
You can email us petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com to enquire if we have a photograph of you which didn't make the final Flickr selection for the race. But we cannot promise that there will be photograph there. As alternatives we advise you to contact the race organisers to enquire if there were (1) other photographs taking photographs at the race event or if (2) there were professional commercial sports photographers taking photographs which might have some photographs of you available for purchase. You might find some links for further information above.
Don't like your photograph here?
That's OK! We understand!
If, for any reason, you are not happy or comfortable with your picture appearing here in this photoset on Flickr then please email us at petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com and we will remove it as soon as possible. We give careful consideration to each photograph before uploading.
I want to tell people about these great photographs!
Great! Thank you! The best link to spread the word around is probably http://www.flickr.com/peterm7/sets

via Tumblr bit.ly/13mEcmX Learn to Use Weightlifting Wrist Straps for Heavy Weights: Weightlifting wrist straps by riptoned.com – Discover the best ways to correctly use lifting straps from Kevin Weiss of Body Performance personal fitness training Hello thereKevin Weiss from Body Performance personal fitness training, in the last 30 years of being a competitive bodybuilder both on the national and world stage as well as being a.competitive powerlifter I have actually learned a thing or 2 about what works and what doesn’t.The last thing you want when you’re dealing with a heavy weight whether it’s with deadlifts, rows, pull-ups, pull-downs or any other thing like that where your grip may become a factor is your grip to slip on you so today I am going to tell you about something I have actually made use of for many years and a fantastic weightlifting product that actually is going to help you in reaching your goals. So the product I want to share with you is the Rip Toned weightlifting padded wrist straps and I just want to offer you a very quick tutorial of the steps to correctly use these lifting workout straps.1. The 1st step that you’re going to do is you’re going to find the loop on the end of the lifting straps.2. Slide the other end through the loop.3. Then move the weightlifting strap onto your hand so the other end is hanging down your palm, you don’t want it this way over top. As well you don’t want it to be up on your wrist cause that’s not going to support everything down onto your hand.4. Tighten it up like this … and that’s ready to go.5. Now I will show you how to wrap the strap around the bar to get the tightest grip possible.6. So your starting position for this step is close to the bar with your wrist strap going underneath, don’t go overtop like this you’ll still have the ability to wrap it around like that but you’re.not going to get a tight grip this way.7. Put it underneath the same way your thumb would go underneath, you can push the lifting strap end underneath then get it on the back side with your fingers like this and pull it until it is tight.8. Now that you have it like this it’s an easy exercise of just flipping it over multiple times… if you really want to keep it tight what works great is that you do similar to a motorcycle grip or a motorcycle throttle twist it … bring it … pull it … twist it … you’re good to go.9. Then you just simply duplicate that with your other hand.Easy as that … now using Rip Toned padded weightlifting straps I have a good grip that’s not going to slip out of my hands at any point in time. All right so that’s all there is to it … real easy product and it will make a big difference in any workouts where your grip is going to be an issue.I’m Kevin Weiss from Body Performance online coaching have an excellent day.Click the link below for more information on RipToned weightlifting wrist straps for both men and women bodybuilders and powerlifters. bit.ly/1a7Brbs. via Blogger bit.ly/17rB0U4

Bloggers and members of Metro's public relations staff listen to Metro General Manager John B. Catoe, Jr. at a roundtable discussion at Metro headquarters in downtown Washington, DC.
This one is a no brainer. My Japanese son is already able to write letters to his Japanese mother in space, in time, using his finger which I am unable to read despite the fact that I am as yet somewhat better than him at Kanji. I just can't seem to be able to maintain the trace in space of the finger moving through time. This should be doable using an animation function in powerpoint. I predict that Japanese who have high private shame will be able to recreate characters writren in space and time.
Somehow I feel that there would also be a greater ability among those Japanese, like my son, that practice forms or kata (in my son's case, Karate kata/forms).
Again, this ability, to read characters written in space in time, is greater among the deaf, who do not use phonetic mental imagery.
I may have a greater ability than many Japanese to maintain a phonetic trace in time due to all the time I spend "listening to myself."
Derrida writes:
To listen to oneself, can that be pleasant? Can one find that pleasant without the nasty taste of a poison, or the foretaste of an illness? I doubt that more and more.
